Rebecca Sue Kesner entered into eternal rest on September 18, 2026, in her family’s arms. Sue was born on October 20, 1947, in Bakersfield, Missouri to Donald Roy and Virginia Lea (Price) Kesner. She was the baby of four sisters: Louise Frates, Mary Anna Mullins, and Donna Barcus who all preceded her path to Heaven.

Sue always called the farm on Bridges Creek in Tecumseh home even though the family lived in Mount Ida, AR and in Georgia for short periods of time during her childhood. Her first job was making fried pies with her mother at the Tecumseh store when the area was booming and was a central point of activity. She graduated from Gainesville High School in 1965 and soon began working at Marbax shirt factory where she remained until 1972 when her son Scott was born. Together she and her son began their life on the creek, making wonderful memories. A short time after Scott was born, Sue began working at Baxter Lab and continued for 35 years until she retired.

Sue became a mother-in-law in 1999 and loved that role. She fully and completely loved her grandsons Jarrett, Jacob, and Jeremy Kesner. People made comments about how red their cheeks always were because Sue made sure they had her kisses. Her family was her world; she loved them deeply and she will be greatly missed.

Sue is survived by her son Scott, his wife Paula and grandsons Jarrett, Jacob and Jeremy Kesner who continue to reside on Bridges Creek. She is also survived by her niece DeAnn Ebrite and son Jared Hayes of Union, Missouri. Nephew Mickey (Judy) Mullins, nephew Ronnie Mullins, and niece Robin Mullins all of Bakersfield, Missouri. As well as many other nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Memorial Contributions may be made to Udall Price Mitchell Cemetery, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main Street, West Plains, Missouri.
