Graveside services for Ronald Edward Roberson, 81, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 31, 2026, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Roberson passed away at 12:47 a.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

He was born March 11, 1945, at West Plains, Missouri, to Cecil Edward Roberson and Amanda Naomi Willard Roberson Dye. Ronald graduated from Central High School, Springfield, Missouri and earned an Associate’s degree from Southwest Missouri State University Springfield. He was married and divorced to Virginia Schneider. Ron later met Mary Louise Hall, his life partner from 1972 until she passed away in November, 2016. Ron had several different jobs, including, a lineman, gas station attendant at Baldy’s, manager of Bud’s MFA and Talley’s Market, where he joked and made people happy. He enjoyed watching westerns and all sports. Ron Loved his family, they meant the world to him; he especially enjoyed spending time with them and teasing everyone. He also loved getting out and going to his favorite places to eat, The Ozark Café, Fred’s Fish House, San Janeros and Nadine’s Ice Cream Shop. He often said “I’m a very blessed man”. Ron was saved and had a strong faith in Jesus Christ.

He is survived by one son, Raymond Snethern and wife, Regena, West Plains, Missouri; three daughters, Kimberly Kingsland and husband, Dean, Centerton, Arkansas, Melissa Looney, South Fork, Missouri and Allison Collins and husband, James, West Plains; eight grandchildren, Micah, Bradley, Quintin, Nicholas, Raymond Jr., Lacey, Shawnee and Audrey; two great-grandsons; twelve great-granddaughters; one brother, James Allen Dye and wife, Debbie; one sister, Karen Linderman and husband, Leonard; his brothers-in-law, J. B. Snethern and Bill Talley; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

His parents, his partner, Mary Louise Hall, one sister, Sharon Talley and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, preceded him in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
