Funeral services for Ronald Eugene (Ron) Shelley, 61, of West Plains, Missouri will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Shelley passed away 4:42 a.m., Monday, June 4, 2012 at his home. He was born October 4, 1950 at West Plains, Missouri to Anna Louise Price Shelley and the late Paul Truman Shelley. Mr. Shelley graduated from the West Plains High School with the Class of 1969 and on August 2, 1974, he was married at West Plains, Missouri to Barbara Sue (Suzi) Brewer. Before his retirement in November of 2011, Mr. Shelley had been employed by Regal Beloit for thirty-five years; he enjoyed camping and fishing. He was a member of the Church of Christ and attended the West 160 Church of Christ in West Plains.

He is survived by his wife, Suzi Shelley, of the family home; his daughter, Lori Cole, husband, Kirby, West Plains; one granddaughter, Alyssa Cole; his mother, Ann Shelley, West Plains, Missouri; two brothers, Larry Shelley, wife, LaDonna, South Fork, Missouri and David Shelley, wife, Susie, West Plains, Missouri; one sister, JoAnn Lester, husband, Dennis, Wathena, Kansas; his mother-in-law, Ruth Brewer, West Plains, Missouri; his father-in-law, Earl Brewer and wife, Janice, West Plains, Missouri; two step brothers-in-law, Jerry Mead and Shawn Mead, wife, Monica, both of West Plains, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

His father and paternal and maternal grandparents precede him in death.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 5th at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ozarks Medical Center Cancer Treatment Center, Southern Christian or Fair Haven Children's Homes and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
