Obituary

Sherry Louise Lox, born on October 13, 1962, in Quincy, Illinois, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, in Caulfield, Missouri. She will be remembered as a cherished wife, daughter, and devoted friend whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.

Sherry's life was marked by a deep love for the simple pleasures that brought her joy and comfort. She found great happiness in spending time at the Cloud 9 Ranch, a place that held a special place in her heart. Her passion for flowers and her affection for her beloved cats were expressions of her gentle and nurturing nature. Above all, Sherry treasured her husband Mark and the community of friends she embraced at Cloud 9 Ranch, where bonds of friendship and camaraderie enriched her life.

Sherry is survived by her loving husband, Mark Lox of Caulfield, Missouri, who stood steadfastly by her side through all seasons of life. She also leaves behind her mother, Janet Kirchner of West Plains, Missouri, whose unwavering support and love were a constant source of strength.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Kirchner; her mother-in-law, Frannie Lox; and her grandparents, Nicholas and Marie Kirchner as well as Albert and Luna Baugher. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who loved Sherry and who find comfort in the legacy of family she so dearly valued.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, located at 211 West Main Street, West Plains, Missouri. Family, friends, and all who knew Sherry are invited to gather in remembrance of her spirit and to share in honoring a life well-lived.

Sherry Louise Lox’s passing leaves a profound sense of loss, yet her memory endures through the love she gave and the lives she touched. Her story is one of grace, love, and enduring connection, treasured by all who were fortunate to call her family and friend. May her soul rest in peace.
