A Celebration of Life Service for Tamara Lynn Grisham, 64, Dora, Missouri, will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Grisham passed away at 8:56 a.m., Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Ozarks Medical Center.
She was born February 13, 1960, at Burlingame, California, to Clarence Leonard Courtney and Hester Naomi Sams Courtney. On August 19, 2023, she was married at Dora, Missouri, to Gary Grisham. Tamara worked as an office clerk at Wiles Title, was a cosmetologist, and worked in the healthcare profession for a number of years. She loved to play music and did so professionally in West Plains and surrounding communities for many years. She also enjoyed many hobbies including crafting, photography, gardening and floating on the river. Tamara loved her family, especially her kids and grandkids. She was of Christian faith and was baptized on October 18, 1970. Tamara was an organ donor and was able to fulfill that wish of gifting life.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Grisham, of the family home; four children, Heather Whittingham and husband, Jeremy, New London, Missouri, Dustin Laxton and wife, Alyssa, Warrensburg, Missouri, Jeremy Grisham and wife, Jen, Willard, Missouri and Randall Grisham and wife, Ashley, Dora, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren, Zevi, Zachary and Noah Whittingham, Laney Brown, Maverick Laxton, Brayden, Kenny, Easton, Garrett, Cameron, Gabriel, Ella, Motley, Treyton and Brynlee Rogers; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her infant brother Steven Len Courtney.
