Obituary

Funeral services for Wanda Lee Belle Denton, 75, St. Peters, Missouri, formerly of Pomona, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Wanda passed away on July 24, 2026, in St. Peters, Missouri.

She was born March 16, 1951, in Alton, Missouri, to Chester and Jewell (Deckard) Dildine. Wanda found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved spending time at garage sales, always on the lookout for purses and shoes. One of her greatest joys was giving those treasures away to others, reflecting her generous and caring spirit. She enjoyed visiting with her family and friends and cherished every opportunity to spend time with those she loved. Wanda was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by her children, David Pind, Jackie Phelps and husband, Scott, Angelina Howell and husband, Clinton and Teena Louise; seven grandchildren, Dylan Darien, Faith Gateley, Chasyn Perry, Chloe Smith, Melia Wright, Josie Palmer, and Natalie Moyer; one sister, Annette Woelfel and husband, John; her life partner, Chuck Clampitt; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Jewell Dildine; one granddaughter, Veronica Pind, and two sisters, Emilie Voyles and Juanita Dildine.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
