Memorial services for Patricia May (Blackburn) Hammond, 64, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the Dawt Church of Christ, Dawt, Missouri.

Mrs. Hammond died 5:25 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2014 at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. She was born July 1, 1950 at Gainesville, Missouri the daughter of Flay O'Dell Blackburn and Dorothy Evangeline Crider Blackburn.  Mrs. Hammond was employed as an accounts representative with Air Evac.  She enjoyed raising English bull dogs, spending time at the river and loved her family.  Mrs. Hammond was a member of the Church of Christ and attended the Dawt Church of Christ.

She is survived by two children, Casey Smith, husband, Sean and Matt Trent,  all of West Plains, Missouri; four grandchildren, Morgan, Nicholas, Jessie, and Claudia;  three brothers, Bob Blackburn, Jim Blackburn, wife, Janice and Jack Blackburn; three sisters, Kathy Snell, husband, Clarence, Linda Blackburn and Nancy Wamser, husband, Mike; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents and one sister, Cynthia Blackburn, precede her in death.
