Thank you so much for leaving the family a note. You helped make Mom’s last weeks pain-free and more comfortable for her. You were emotionally supportive to all the family members, too. As you were helping Mom, you were helping us, too. She loved all of the nurses and aides who helped her through her last days. You are all very special people.

Thanks Mike and Diana. The past 2 months have been difficult. We really didn’t have an opportunity for her diagnoses to sink in before we were having to deal with her loss. Knowing she is no longer suffering bring a huge sense of peace to each of us.

Our loss here on earth is God’s gain in heaven with a sweet and lovely lady, aunt, like a sister, and best friend. Our memories will linger forever and as we press forward may each of us realize our lives have been touched and enriched because of this dear lady. Brown Family: May you experience the great love of God, peace that passes all understanding, joy because that is what Jesus gives, comfort from the Holy Spirit and contentment that only comes from fully trusting in Him, our Redeemer. You all demonstrated such a gentleness and caring during this challenging time. You will be rewarded for such love and care you gave to your mother. May God bless each of you in special way.

I cannot begin to say how beautiful that Shirley was to our family, and I am sure to so many other people. I know that she is where she wanted to be in the end, celebrating with the others that went on before her, but she is not completely finished here until her entire garden has been tended to and then is when she will rest at ease.
