Susan Elizabeth Turnbull

Funeral services for Susan Elizabeth Turnbull, 61, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2013, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Turnbull died at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 17, 2013, at Ozarks Medical Center. 

She was born May 20, 1951, at West Plains, Missouri, to James Edward “Ed” Ellison, Sr. and Ruth Gertrude Johnson Ellison.  On September 10, 1966, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Robert Turnbull, Sr.  She loved family get-togethers and enjoyed crocheting.  Mrs. Turnbull was of the Pentecostal faith. 

She is survived by her husband, Robert Turnbull, Sr., of the family home; nine children, Robert Lee Turnbull, Jr., West Plains, Missouri, Kenneth Donald Turnbull, wife, Charmaine, West Plains, Missouri, Roger Dean Turnbull, West Plains, Missouri, Roberta Sue Hodges, companion, Ed Powers, Pomona, Missouri, Edward Allan Turnbull, wife, Heather, West Plains, Missouri, Billy Jack Turnbull, West Plains, Missouri, James Richard Turnbull, wife, Patricia, Caulfield, Joseph Wayne Turnbull, West Plains, Missouri and Ruth Angela Gerdes, husband, Michael, Howe, Oklahoma; twenty-one grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; five brothers, James Ellison, wife, Tammy, Cabool, Missouri, Joe Ellison, West Plains, Missouri, Jack Ellison, wife, Joyce, Houston, Missouri, Bob Ellison, West Plains, Missouri, and Sherman Strawn, West Plains, Missouri; one sister, Edith Pringle, husband, Charlie, Willow Springs, Missouri; and one sister-in-law, Debbie Ellison.

Her parents, one infant grandson, Ethan Tyler Turnbull, one granddaughter, Jessica Turnbull, three brothers, Kenneth, Roger and John Ellison and one sister, Edna Strawn, precede her in death.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
