Graveside services for Thelma House, 85, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 2, 2014, at South Fork Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. House died at 7:41 p.m., Monday, September 29, 2014, at Ozarks Medical Center.

She was born March 9, 1929, at Cureall, Missouri, to Elza Caleb Hixon and Ellen Martha Martin Hixon. Mrs. House attended school in West Plains and Bakersfield and on September 26, 1947, she was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Charles "Chief" House, who preceded her in death on October 23, 1998. She retired from International Shoe Company after 20 years. Mrs. House enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandkids.

She is survived by two children, Ricky House, wife, Reta and Reba Libby; four grandchildren, Kimberly Libby, Michael Libby, wife, Rachel, Brooke House and Brock House; two great-grandchildren, Mason and Korie Libby; two sisters, Juanita Walker and Ruby Hobbs; several nieces and nephews; and her special cousin, Dorothy Tyree, husband Darrell .

Her parents, husband, one grandson, Brandon, one brother, Robert Hixon and one sister, Avis Roberts, precede her in death.

Mrs. House will lie in state from 4:00 Wednesday, until 12:00 Noon Thursday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to South Fork Cemetery, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
