Graveside services for Thomas Henry Young, Sr., 85, Pottersville, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 2, 2021 at Ledbetter Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Young passed away at 12:30 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Brooke Haven Health Care.

He was born April 22, 1936, at Elijah, Missouri, to Charlie Randolph Young and Ila Dorothy Craig Young.  On September 8, 1956, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Joyce Arnold.  Thomas lived all of his life in and around Pottersville and attended Oak Mound School.  In his younger years, he worked as a logger before going to work at Southwest Truck Body, having retired after thirty-one years.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Young; one son, Henry Young, Jr., and friend, Anita Walker, West Plains; two grandchildren, James Young and Mindy Howell and husband, Joe, all of Pottersville; seven great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

His parents and one son, Hal Dean Young, preceded him in death.
