Funeral services for Wanda Lee Thompson, 76, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at United Freewill Baptist Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Thompson passed away at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 20, 2015 at Willow Care Nursing Home.
She was born February 26, 1939, at Myrtle, Missouri, to Don Bryan and Delia Evans Bryan. Mrs. Thompson was married to Dexter Thompson, who preceded her in death on September 30, 1965. She worked in environmental services at Ozarks Medical Center and enjoyed yard sales and auctions. Mrs. Thompson was a member of United Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Tammy Brower and husband, Doug, Willow Springs, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Bessie Thompson and longtime companion, Ronald Jackson, West Plains, Missouri; five grandchildren, Bryan Brower, Courtney Brower, Kerry Thompson Cook and husband, Daniel, Cassandra Thompson and special friend, Austin McClenathan and David Thompson and wife, Sarah; two great-grandchildren, Peyton Cook and Matthew Thompson; one brother, Ray Bryan and wife, Sylvia; one sister, Sheila Richards and husband, Bob; brother-in-law, Herman Bennett; several cousins, including Jerry Blankenship and wife, Carol and Ellen Driskell; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, infant twins, Carl and Carol, son, Hershel Thompson, one brother, Norman Bryan and two sisters, Shirley Bennett and Loutress Dahlgren, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
