William Claude "Bill" Chamberlain, 80, Caulfield, Missouri, died at 4:45 a.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at his home.  He was born September 7, 1931, at Plano, Illinois, to Fred and Myrtle Chamberlain. On September 2, 1961, he was married in the state of Florida to Rebecca Chandler.  Before his retirement, Mr. Chamberlain was employed with the Douglas County Sheriff's Department and was a jack of all trades.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Chamberlain, of the family home; three children, William Richard Chamberlain, wife, Deanna, and Brenda Johnston, husband, Gary, both of Bakersfield, Missouri and Claudine Rosenkrans, Koshkonong, Missouri; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, one granddaughter, three brothers and two sisters precede him in death. Arrangements under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
