Beverly Ann Cope

Funeral services for Beverly Ann Cope, 79, Republic, Missouri, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 2, 2025, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Cope passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Cox South Medical Center, Springfield, Missouri.

She was born November 9, 1945, at West Plains, Missouri, to Lonzo Haring and Rachel Louise Jolliff Haring.  On April 15, 1961, she was married in West Plains, to John Cope.  Beverly was a hairdresser for many years, a career that she loved.  She enjoyed watching and feeding birds. She loved flowers, the color yellow and enjoyed watching home shopping shows, especially QVC.  Beverly always wanted to look her best, including hair and jewelry.  Mrs. Cope loved her family and her husband.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, John Cope, of the family home; one son, Mike Cope and wife, Lisa, Republic, Missouri; four grandchildren, Brittany Morris and wife, Mindi Schlinm, Ozark, Missouri, Layce Rockholm and husband, Gregory, Springfield, Missouri, Jordan Garcia and husband, Bryan, Springfield, Missouri and Ashlywn Cope, Springfield, Missouri; six great-grandchildren, Shelby, Blake, Avery, Everleigh, Conan and Ronin; one brother, Bob Haring and wife, Kelli, Rogersville, Missouri; one sister, Jan Welch, Jonesboro, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews. 

Her parents and two sisters, Betty and Gail, preceded her in death.  

Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
