Brody River Barry
Funeral services for Brody River Barry, infant son of Brian and Brittney Barry, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Brody River went to be with the Angels at 3:36 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014, at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
He was born February 14, 2014, at West Plains, Missouri, to Brian Shane Barry and Brittney Dawn Alsup Barry.
We thank God for loaning us one of his Angels for two days. Brody River was only with us for such a short period of time, but he will live in our hearts forever. How could a baby touch so many people and affect so many lives unless it was truly a gift from God. He was born on Valentine’s Day and he taught us how to love more deeply than we ever thought possible. We will never forget you Brody River.
Brody River is survived by his parents, Brian and Brittney Barry, Koshkonong, Missouri; maternal grandparents, Brent and Renea VonAllmen Alsup, Rover, Missouri; paternal grandparents, Dade and Ronda Barry, Pomona, Missouri; maternal great-grandparents, Leon and Joyce VonAllmen, Rover, Missouri and Don and Barbara Alsup, West Plains, Missouri; paternal great-grandparents, Ray and Fern Alvis, Pomona, Missouri and Jan Baker-Barry, Willow Springs, Missouri; aunt, Jennifer Newberry, husband, Brad, Rover, Missouri; four cousins, Brett, Jacob, Keegan and Chloe; special great-aunt and great-uncles, Duke and Cindy Barry, Willow Springs, Missouri and Terry VonAllmen, Ozark, Missouri; and a host of other loving family and friends.
His paternal great-grandfather, Roy Barry, precedes him in death.
Burial will be in the Jolliff Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

I am a friend of your Uncle Terry in Springfield MO. My heart goes out to you and your family during this very difficult time. Your son was a precious gift and I know your hearts are broken right now but you have an amazing family to support you. Your loving memories will last a lifetime.

I work in the next cubical with your Uncle Terry and I know for a fact that you are loved and cared for deeply by him and I’m sure the rest of your family as well. Hold them all closer thatn ever and draw strength from each other. You all have been in my prayers for several days and will continue to be in the days and months to come, that God will comfort your broken hearts. May you find some peace in knowing that there is nothing that you and your family and God can’t handle together. It is not time that heals a broken heart, but what we do within that time that makes the difference.

Brian you and your family are in my prayers. It is always hard to lose a baby/child to say the very least! I hope the best for you and your wife. God will bless you with other babies, although none will take the place of this one and I would know. Over 31 years ago I lost my first son and it wasn’t good and I still miss him so much and the three 1/2 months I had him, but I have three living children today who help ease the pain. You and your family will always be in my prayers just because I love you and you are special to me! Forever a friend Dana French Fine

Brain, Brittney and Family,
We can’t begin to tell you how sorry we are for you loss. Brody River is with the angles now.
He will be with you the rest of your lives as our infant son is. We really can’t understand why,
but we know God had a plan. May God Bless you at this difficult time. Our prayers are with
you and your family.
