Mrs. Ingalsbe passed away at 12:20 p.m., Monday, May 27, 2019 at Ozarks Medical Center.
She was born October 31, 1924, at West Plains, Missouri, to Frederick Emil Gundy and Mattie Berneice Roach Gundy. On May 10, 1945, she was married at Salem, Arkansas, to James Peter “Sonny” Ingalsbe, who preceded her in death on November 18, 2015. Mrs. Ingalsbe was a member of Evergreen Ladies Club where she enjoyed quilting. She also enjoyed gardening, fishing and loved her family. Mrs. Ingalsbe was a Christian.
She is survived by three children, Ray Ingalsbe, West Plains, Kelvin Ingalsbe and wife, Cindy, Ozark, Missouri and Linda Kutter and husband, Ken, West Plains; one daughter-in-law, Christy Ingalsbe, West Plains; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one son, Carl Ingalsbe, one daughter, Dianna Ingalsbe, one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Ingalsbe, one grandson, five sisters and two brothers, preceded her in death.

She was born December 12, 1936, in Germany, to Karl and Gertrude Freitoch Olzyck. She was married in 1957 to Edwin Eugene Chapman, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Chapman loved flowers and enjoyed puzzles. She was a member of Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by three children, Jim Chapman and wife, Tyra, West Plains, Darlene Spoor and husband, Tom, West Plains and Cindy Smith and husband, Ed, Sanford, Florida; seven grandchildren, Brandi, Candi, Jeremy, Eric, Andrea, Matthew and Rebecca; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Renate Trautman, of Germany; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, three brothers and two sisters, preceded her in death.

She is survived by the love of her life, Brian Lawrence; three children, Robert Lawrence and wife, Janet, Kemp, Texas, Victoria Staggs, West Plains and Brian Jr. Lawrence, West Plains; son-in-law, Troy Staggs; four grandchildren, Brittany Staggs-Collins and husband, Jordon, Cody Lawrence and wife, Bayleigh, Katherine Sutton and Haley Staggs; seven great-grandchildren, Linkin, Reagan, Rhaina, Arabella, Aspyn, Kennedy and Alex; two brothers, Joseph Degnegaard and wife, Sue, Fort Myers, Florida and Gary Degnegaard and wife, Chris, Tinley Park, Illinois; three sisters, Susan Schneidewend, Pensacola, Florida, Debbie Williams, Fort Myers, Florida and Roberta O’Neill and husband, Steve, of the State of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Taylor passed away May 24, 2019, at Tucson, Arizona.
She was born January 10, 1920 in Glenpool, Oklahoma, to Thomas Henderson Rideout and Mary Jane Renfro Rideout. Dortha’s elementary schooling was at the Red Ranch School, Howell County, Missouri. She began high school in Oklahoma and finished in Koshkonong, Missouri with the Class of 1939 as Valedictorian. She was a graduate of the Riveria Beauty College, Lebanon Missouri and also attended the University of Missouri and Cookeville Business College in Tennessee. On September 1, 1940 she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Wellington Thomas Taylor, who preceded her in death April 17, 1993. Dortha always enjoyed traveling and learning to do new things. She learned to paint in oils and water colors, to draw with pencil, to sew and to do needle work. She and her husband did many craft projects together. Mrs. Taylor became a Christian in November, 1942, when she was baptized by G. K. Wallace in the Spring River at Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. She remained active in the Church of Christ as long as her health permitted and was a member of the Curry Street Church of Christ in West Plains.
She is survived by her son, Teddy Neal Taylor and wife, Elizabeth, Beavercreek Ohio and their children, Wendy Parks, Okeana Ohio and James Taylor, Warren Rhode Island, daughter, Jean Elaine Taylor Goforth and husband, John, of Berthoud Colorado and their children, Minuette Grentz, Layton, Utah and Alyssa Novak, Longmont, Colorado, son Jackie Dean Taylor and wife, Cynthia, Tucson, Arizona and their children, Bradford Taylor, Dallas, Texas and Jessica Boyd, Gary North Carolina; twelve great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mabel Rideout Uhlmann, West Plains, Missouri.
Her parents, husband, four brothers Hurshal, Henry, Herbert and Robert Rideout, and three sisters, Gladys Davis, Mildred Hunter and Berta Rideout, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Wilson was a nurse and was a very loving and caring person. She enjoyed fishing, going to church and listening to gospel songs and loved time spent with her family. Mrs. Wilson attended Lanton Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, William “Pete” Wilson, Salem, Arkansas; her mother, Wilma Goss, State of Oklahoma; two children, William Thomas Higgins and Michelle Higgins, Rock Island, Illinois; four step-children, Adam Earls, State of Mississippi, Amy McNabb, State of Tennessee, Crystal Stamford, State of Mississippi and Michelle Wilson, State of Missouri; seventeen grandchildren, including special granddaughter, Destiny Wilson; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Goss Jr., State of Illinois and Steve Goss, State of Oklahoma; one sister, Laura Shephard, State of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brotherton passed away at 7:00 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2019 at his home.
He was born March 10, 1932, in the Dripping Springs Community, to Irvin Henry Brotherton and Edna Cora Bennett Brotherton. On February 15, 1955, he was married at Long Beach, California, to Linda Deloris Collins. Mr. Brotherton was a veteran, having served with the United States Navy from 1952 – 1956. He was a passionate farmer for over 60 years. He dearly loved his family and get togethers when everyone was together; his favorite was Christmas, when everyone gathered around while he would read the Christmas story. Mr. Brotherton served as a Deacon at Immanuel Southern Baptist Church, Pomona, Missouri, since 1989; he has been a member since September, 1961.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris Brotherton, of the family home; five children, Doug Brotherton and wife, Brenda, Pomona, Missouri, Mike Brotherton and wife, Beckey, Pomona, Missouri, Debra Clinton and husband, Rick, Willow Springs, Missouri, Greta Bailey and husband, Mike, West Plains, Missouri and Norma Jean Reese and husband, John, West Plains, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Eric, Amber, Shane, Chase, Shannon, Landon, Andy, Rodney, Ashton and Taylor; sixteen great-grandchildren and a great-granddaughter due in August; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a Registered Nurse at Ozarks Medical Center. She enjoyed gardening and needlework of all kinds; she loved nature and animals, especially bird watching. Mrs. Gardner was a member of Amy Baptist Church.
She is survived by one step-son, Jerry Lee Gardner, Springfield, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Lucille Young, Claremont, California; several nieces and nephews, including Gerald Fite and James Fite and wife, Laurie; special family friends, Jeff Yielding, Sally Stasney, Kate Pace and Jean Freeman; and many cousins.

He was born December 17, 1924, at Pomona, Missouri, to Wesley Brown and Girtha Hall Brown. On August 16, 1943, he was married at Pomona, Missouri, to Fanny Mae Pankey, who preceded him in death on January 29, 2013. Mr. Brown was a World War II Veteran, having served with the United States Army. For a number of years, he worked in the cutting department at Rawlings Sporting Goods, Willow Springs, Missouri. Mr. Brown was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Collins Chapel, Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
He is survived by two children, William Leon Brown and wife, Rose and Brenda Thompson; five grandchildren, Rich Thompson, Jr. and wife, Shawn, Robert W. Brown and wife, Jamie, Danny Brown, Tina Thompson and Betheny Doherty and husband, Jeff; three great-grandchildren, Matthew Brown, Audrey Thompson and Blaine Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Lovan was a logger and loved his work. He enjoyed riding and pulling horses and loved spending time with his family and his many friends. Mr. Lovan was a Christian.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Cash Lovan, of the family home; two children, Sarah DePriest and husband, Allen, Dora, Missouri and Emmy Lou Ellison and husband, Mike, Gainesville, Missouri; five grandchildren, Seth Lovan and wife, Kelsie, Cally DePriest, Cash DePriest, Lori Ellison and Tyler Ellison; and one great-grandson, Wade Lowell Lovan.

She was born January 21, 1937, to Jesse Lawrence and Lillie Tabor Lawrence. In 1953 she was married to Ray Edmon Belcher, who preceded her in death December 3, 1972. On March 12, 1988, she was married at Dora, Missouri, to Robert Louis Bartley, who preceded her in death on June 3, 2003. Before her retirement she worked at McQuay Norris, also known as Eaton and later known as Invensys. Goldie enjoyed fishing, camping, crocheting, quilting and making clothing for babies. Her family was an important part of her life. Mrs. Bartley was a Christian.
She is survived by her companion, Pete Georgecopoules; four children, Mary Jo Hawkins and husband, Randy, West Plains, Missouri, Michael Pasco and wife, Pam, Toledo, Ohio, Loretta Collins and husband, Max, West Plains, Missouri and Debra Trott and husband, Norman, Mountain Home, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was born April 24, 1939, at Pottersville, Missouri, to Walter Silas Hensley and Vernie Edna Davis Hensley. A graduate of Bakersfield High School, Barbara began her career as a legal secretary in West Plains, then in Springfield and moving back to West Plains where she worked for the City of West Plains before becoming manager of the West Plains Housing Authority. After leaving the housing authority, Barbara became personal secretary to the Dean of the civil engineering department at the University of Missouri at the Rolla campus. While at UMR she became a certified professional secretary and was a member and secretary of the Rolla chapter of the National Secretaries Association. In 1992, she became office manager for Losh Communications in Springfield, retiring in 2007. Barbara was a long time member of the Broadway United Methodist Church, Springfield.
She is survived by two sisters, Shirley Callahan, West Plains and Violet Losh, Springfield; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, one son, Stan Lee, three brothers, Thurman, Neil and Lowell Hensley and five sisters, Charlene Huffman, Dorothy Spencer, Ruby Huffman, Irene White and Mildred Rutan, preceded her in death.

He was born August 6, 1937, at Glendale, Arizona, to Emmett Lethem and Bernadean Meredith Lethem. On December 30, 1975, he was married at Phoenix, Arizona, to Anna Marie Cofer. Mr. Lethem was a veteran, having served with the United States Navy. Before his retirement, he worked as a Journey lineman at Arizona Power Company for thirty-three and a half years. He was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the NRA. Mr. Lethem was of the Baptist faith and had served as a Deacon at his home church in Arizona.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Lethem, of the family home; four children, Michael Lethem and wife, Lisa, Phoenix, Arizona, Darrell Phillippe, West Plains, Missouri, Rex Phillippe and wife, Kristin, Thayer, Missouri and Cheri Berkson and husband, Bruce, Sedona, Arizona; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Ray Lethem and wife, Norma, Tonto Basin, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.

On February 20, 1953, she was married to Herbert Ray Lamb, who preceded her in death on May 18, 1987. In her later years, Jackie had worked as a hostess at Ramada Inn and worked at Hardee’s. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Kreger was a member of Central Church of Christ.
She is survived by three children, Herbert D. Lamb, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Linda S. VonCannon, Yorktown, Virginia and Tami R. Dudgeon and husband, Alan, West Plains, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Mary Hillyard, James Stovall, Brittany Brown, Daniel VonCannon, Tasha Phegley, Lane Dudgeon and Tate Dudgeon; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Dorman May, Orb May and Palmer May; one sister, Eva Garner; and several nieces and nephews.

He was born October 5, 1968, at Flint, Michigan, to Loy Dean Cheshire and Patsy Jones Cheshire Coffman. On September 20, 2014, he was married at West Plains, to Brenda Holloway. He loved football and working on the riverboats. Tony collected Hot Wheels cars and enjoyed to play catch with anyone that was willing.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Cheshire; his mother, Patsy Coffman; grandmother, Nadine Jones; two sisters, Amy Williams and husband, Joe and Tracy Webers and husband, Stuart; niece and nephews, Summer Webers, Ty Webers, Dreydan Williams and Keegan Williams.
His father and grandparents preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the State Line Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Jack E. DeNeut, son of the late Clair and Sophie DeNeut was born on September 26, 1928 in Newton, Iowa. He departed this life to join his Savior Jesus on May 4, 2019, at his home in West Plains, Missouri.
Jack was united in marriage to his beautiful bride and the love of his life, Juanita Louise Carlisle, on September 1, 1950, in LaPorte City, Iowa. To this union was born two children, Michael Craig and Jackie Lynn. Jack was a journeyman plumber for most of his working life. He retired from the St. Louis plumbers Union after many years of service and later settled in West Plains, Missouri. Jack accepted Jesus as his Savior and was a Christian. He enjoyed woodworking, visiting friends at the West Plains Senior Center, and watching his grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s sporting events. He was an avid gardener and was well-known for giving away his produce, selling his vegetables to local businesses and maintaining his stand at the farmer’s market. He enjoyed growing various flowers and vegetables, often spending hours a day working in his greenhouses and garden. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren dearly, and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of life and gardening with his family. This poem was written by Jack’s granddaughter-in-law about Jack and his great-grandson: “I’m Great Grandpa’s garden buddy. We don’t care if it’s dry or muddy! We dig in the ground and plant the seed; we pick all the vegetables we need! We love to watch the flowers grow! Great Grandpa’s plants are the best you know! I visit his farmer’s market stand; Great Grandpa’s produce is in high demand! The smell of a tomato, the taste of a pepper, from Great Grandpa’s garden there’s nothing better! Great Grandpa loves me, he tells me so. His seeds of love in my heart do grow. Great Grandpa and me we’re two peas in a pod. The love we share is a blessing from God!”
Jack is preceded in death by his father, mother, and two brothers, Richard and Jean.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita of West Plains, Missouri; a sister, Merle Carlisle of Kirksville, MO; a son, Michael DeNeut of Alaska; a daughter, Jackie Douglas and husband Carl of West Plains, Missouri; three grandsons, Lucas Douglas and wife Amanda of West Plains, Missouri; Brent Douglas of Springfield, Missouri; Nathan DeNeut of Ohio; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jack will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
A private graveside service will be held at Precinct Cemetery, Earlville, Illinois, for Elizabeth Cheyne Holliday, 87, West Plains, Missouri.
Mrs. Holliday passed away at 6:25 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Ozarks Medical Center.
She was born July 4, 1931, at Narrogin, Western Australia, to Robert John Morrison and Ann Brander Morrison. On September 25, 1955, she was married at Earlville, Illinois, to William Earl Holliday, who preceded her in death on December 21, 2015. She attended schools in the Perth Western Australia area, including Noombling, Rivervale, Wandering, Codjitoetine, Victoria Park and also took correspondence classes. Elizabeth graduated from Perth Girls High School and attended Stanley School of Dress Cutting and Design, graduating in 1948. She worked for Stanley School from 1951 to 1954 teaching dressmaking to 5th through 12th grades. She opened a dressmaking shop in Narrogin, Western Australia in 1948 which she ran for three years. In 1952, she received her teacher’s diploma and continued teaching in many private schools and night classes until she resigned in 1955 to travel. Elizabeth worked in a shoe store in Perth Australia. She moved to the United States in 1955 and to Missouri in 1976; she worked at several other jobs, retiring in 1999 from Pleasant Valley Manor. While living in Illinois she was involved with the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and was a homeroom mother at school. By the time she moved to the United States she had traveled the world; at times even traveling alone at a young age to Singapore. Her passion was her family and knowing what all were up to; she loved to travel and tell stories about her life and experiences. Elizabeth never met a stranger and within minutes of meeting someone, she would know their life story and vice versa. She soaked up information like a sponge. Elizabeth was a great cook; people would come each year to the church bazaar to purchase her famous sugar cookies and pecan pies. She enjoyed making embroidered items, such as pillow cases and baby blankets for family and friends. With her passing a great wealth of knowledge is lost and she will forever be missed by all. Mrs. Holliday was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
She is survived by four children, Kim Rose and husband, Robert, Gary Holliday and wife, Jody, Kari Moore and husband, Wes and Timothy Holliday and wife, Christy; eleven grandchildren, John Klatt and significant other, Jeni Woods, Nathan, Kharli and significant other, Colin, Chantal, Tanner Holliday and significant other, Amanda Hill, Wade Holliday, Michael Moore and wife, Miranda, Allie Moore and significant other, Oliver Bollinger, Aaron Moore and wife, Ashley, Aine Holliday and Liam Holliday; fourteen great-grandchildren, Owen, Bentlee, Lillee, Charlee, Georgee, Neveigha, Nicholas, Shelby, Presley, Thayden, Adrian, David, James and Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one daughter, Jan Holliday, two granddaughters, Shea Lynn Holliday and Rachel Klatt, two sisters and three brothers, preceded her in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Graveside services for Judy Jones, 80, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2019 at Oak Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jones passed away at 3:20 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at West Vue Nursing Center.
She was born August 9, 1938, in Germany. On August 12, 1961, she was married at Redondo Beach, California, to Harmon Jones, who preceded her in death. She enjoyed gardening and yardwork. Mrs. Jones was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nephews, Todd and Robyn Vanatter, Leah Wilkins, Jason and Pat Vanatter, Ashlynn Vanatter, Dillon Pike, Deseree’ Wilkins and Suzie and Torri Vanatter; one sister-in-law, Charlotte Huff; one brother; and two sisters.
Her parents, husband and one sister preceded her in death.
Mrs. Jones will lie in state from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
