Charles Lester Williams
Funeral services for Charles Lester Williams, 84, Pottersville, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Gospel Hill Church of Christ, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Williams passed away at 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2019 at his home.
He was born April 23, 1934, at Cureall, Missouri, to Jack Hiza Williams and Esta Mable Lawing Williams. On May 16, 1959, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Freda Fay Sexton, who preceded him in death June 23, 2016. Mr. Williams was a veteran, having served with the United States Army. Before his retirement, he was a carpenter and fabricator at Springfield Marine. He loved to fish and enjoyed doing woodwork. Mr. Williams was a member of Gospel Hill Church of Christ.
He is survived by one son, Robert Dale Williams, Springfield, Missouri; three grandchildren, Patricia Faye, Melissa and Charlie Williams; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, James Leon Williams and wife, Verna, Tecumseh, Missouri; one sister, Lela Mawhiney and husband, Ronald, Nixa, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, wife, one son, Donald Joe Williams, one brother, Billy Joe Williams and two sisters, Lena Fox and Nona McAninch, preceded him in death.
Mr. Williams will lie in state from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Friday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Gospel Hill Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Gospel Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Hill Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Lester, Rest In Peace. I will always cherish the wall hanging and Vanity that we received when Mom ( Nina Schmer) and I came to see You and Freda. Someday I will still try Frog Legs and Gravy. You will be dearly missed. tell Freda and Linda we Love Them as well !!
