I met Clyde and Dale through my brother in law who was also stationed many times with Clyde while in the Air Force. I remember the fishing trips the three of us had on White River below Cotter, Arkansas. Clyde was great fisherman, outdoorsman and was a lot of fun to be around. It had been several years since I last had the privlige and honor to go fishing with him but in my mind’s eye, I can see him as if he was standing here as I write this message. I also found out that Dale is a very compassionate woman and the two of them together was a picture of perfect love. Clyde, here’s wishing you the best spot on the River of Heaven and the largest catch of the day. I know you will add to the glory of Heaven with your presence. A friend from long ago…Grover Slocum, Wynne, Ark.
