Elsie Mae Croney
Graveside services for Elsie Mae Croney, 83, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Pottersville Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Croney passed away at 4:30 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2016 at West Vue Nursing Center.
She was born January 17, 1933, at Pottersville, Missouri, to Harry Eldon McKee and Nancy Earnestine Summers McKee. On April 7, 1949, she was married at Mountain Home, Arkansas, to James Leonard Croney and to this union four children were born. She and Leonard spent most of their lives residing on their dairy farm in Dora, Missouri. Mrs. Croney worked for many years until retirement at Eaton Corporation. She enjoyed many hobbies and activities, including quilting, embroidery, crochet, gardening and canning. She gifted many of her family and friends with the treasures she created over the decades.
She is survived by three children, Gary Lee Croney and wife, Lisa, Dora, Missouri, Stanley Gene Croney and wife, Janice, Mountain Home, Arkansas and Kathy Jo McCleary and husband, Doug, Dora, Missouri; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one infant son, Leonard Wayne Croney, two brothers, Harry Joe McKee and James Paul McKee and one sister, Maxine Collins, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Friday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pottersville Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

I’m very sorry to hear of Aunt Elsie’s passing. I wish we could be there, but we can’t. I want you kids to know you are in our thoughts & prayers. This is a very nice picture. I always thought she was pretty.
