George Howard Vandiver
Funeral services for George Howard Vandiver, 78, Brandsville, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in the Rose Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Vandiver passed away at 11:35 p.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Ozarks Medical Center.
He was born December 27, 1940, at Dripping Springs, Missouri, to Granville Vandiver and Margaret Gates Fullmer. Mr. Vandiver graduated from Koshkonong High School with the Class of 1959. On February 23, 1969, he was married at Brandsville, Missouri, to Deanna Laraine King, who preceded him in death on December 1, 2008. Mr. Vandiver worked as a machinist at DRS, formerly known as Southwest Truck Body. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, assembling model cars and collecting Civil War memorabilia. Mr. Vandiver was a Christian.
He is survived by two children, Niki Moss and husband, David, West Plains, Missouri and Clint Vandiver and wife, Amy, Sparks, Nevada; five grandchildren, David Michael Moss, Brady Aaron Moss, Zachery Aaron Vandiver, Christian Michael Vandiver and Hannah Lynn Vandiver; one great-grandchild, Dawn Marie Leann Moss; one brother, Stan Vandiver and wife, Beverly; two sisters, Sue Priester and husband, Michael and Tammi Stubbs and husband, Gary; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, wife, one sister and one brother, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Union Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Union Hill Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
