Gerald Dewayne Brower

Graveside services for Gerald Dewayne Brower, 59, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2013, at Mt. Zion Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Brower died at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2013, at his home.
He was born February 19, 1954, at Olden, Missouri, to Edward Cyril “Bud” Brower and Helen Lucille Kethcart Brower. He graduated from Willow Springs High School with the Class of 1972. Mr. Brower was self-employed and was a veteran, having served in the United States Army. He enjoyed his pets and working on lawn mowers. Mr. Brower was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters; one step-son; special friend, Eloisa Wisniewiski; five sisters, Virginia Mitchell, Elgin, Illinois, Janice Fritts, husband, Kenneth, Pomona, Missouri, Marcella McMurtrey, husband, Larry, West Plains, Missouri, Karen Havens, Willow Springs, Missouri, Deborah Vigdal, husband, Jim, West Plains, Missouri; three brothers, Ronald Brower, wife, Linda, Washington, Missouri, Doug Brower, wife, Jo, Pomona, Missouri and Louie Brower, wife, Tami, Pomona, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, two brothers, Chester (Pete) Brower and George E. Brower, one sister, Rebecca Lake and one infant sister, precede him in death.
Mr. Brower will lie in state from 4:00 p.m., Sunday until Noon Monday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
