Graveside services for Hazel Henry, 95, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 9:00 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2018 at Oak Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Henry passed away at 11:39 a.m., Monday, June 25, 2018 at West Vue Nursing Center.
She was born November 14, 1923, at Elijah, Missouri, to John Harris and Ola Roberts Harris. She graduated from Bakersfield High School and on March 12, 1945, was married to Francis Marion Henry, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Henry had worked at International Shoe Factory and Baxter Laboratories. She enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Curry Street Church of Christ.
She is survived by one brother, Mearl Harris and wife, Louise, West Plains, Missouri; one sister, Rachel Hensley, Paris, Missouri; seven nieces and nephews, Wanda Coats, Pocahontas, Arkansas, Shirley Kenslow and husband, Charles, West Plains, Larry Harris and wife, Liz, West Plains, Jerry Hensley and wife, Eva, Centralia, Missouri, Ronnie Harris and wife, Doris, West Plains, Janice Carter and husband, Larry, Peace Valley, Missouri and Betty Hunter and husband, Bob, Springfield, Missouri.
Her parents, husband, two brothers, Earl and Everett, two nephews, Jimmy and Randy and two nieces, Bonnie and Joyce, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Henry will lie in state from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Fair Haven Children’s Home and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
