First met this lady while working with Erin. Mrs. Lair had a great sense of humor and seemed to be, always having a good time. She will be missed.

This special lady will stay in my heart forever. She made me laugh, made me thoughtful, made me remember what good friends are for. Mamma Queen of a wonderful family who follow in her footsteps. You really did a good job with your life, Gay. Thank you for your friendship.

When Mark and I first got married, and we’re so young, we moved to Mark’s hometown of Moody where I first got to meet Jerry and Gay at Jerry’s Station and Grocery. I had never heard of Moody until Mark and I started dating. Upon meeting folks like Jerry and Gay, I felt like I already had friends there. I appreciated that feeling immensely. Gay always had a smile for me and for everyone that walked into the store. She made you feel special and as if you belonged. I believe she did this for all people. She seemed always to be happy and contented with her life. I know everyone will miss her and her beautiful smile. Mark and I are here for you all and wish you peace in the knowing that she was loved and will always be loved.

Moody Store has never been the same since Jerry and Gay retired from there. Gay always had the best smile and was a friend to all. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with Jerry and the family.
