Leroy Erzinger

Funeral services for Leroy Erzinger, 89, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 28, 2025, at New Liberty Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Erzinger passed away at 11:27 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at his home.
He was born July 13, 1936, at West Plains, to Edmund Erzinger and Virda Huffmann Erzinger. On July 2, 1957, he was married at Milan, Missouri, to Evalena Ann Bryan, who preceded him in death on July 16, 2018; they shared sixty-one years of marriage. Leroy was a Minister, taught Sunday school and made the church bulletins for every congregation he was a part of. He wrote poetry and songs, often using Bible verses in them. Mr. Erzinger enjoyed making cabinets and fishing. He lived in Palm Bay, Florida most of his adult life before moving back to Missouri in 2019. While in Florida he was the owner and operator of a construction company for over forty-two years; he hired troubled people in the area and was a mentor to them. Leroy loved his family. He was a member of South Fork Community Church.
He is survived by two children, Alan Erzinger, Palm Bay, Florida and Linda Erzinger and husband, James May, Louisville, Kentucky; one grandson, Jarred Erzinger; three brothers, Paul Erzinger and wife, Opal, St. Louis, Missouri, George Erzinger and wife, Linda, West Plains, Missouri and John Erzinger and wife, Beverly, Sullivan, Missouri; one sister, Julia Hopkins, West Plains, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
His parents, wife, one brother, Phill Erzinger and one sister, Laura Peterman, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Monday, at New Liberty Church. Burial will be at Lone Pine Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Lone Pine Cemetery, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
