Lyle Stanley Cockrum
Funeral services for Lyle Stanley Cockrum, 60, Pottersville, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2013, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Cockrum died at 4:15 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2013, at his home.
He was born June 2, 1953, at Zanoni, Missouri, to Troy Leon and Reba Maxine Woolf Cockrum. On May 11, 2000, he was married at Salem, Arkansas to Joy Dowden. Mr. Cockrum was a coating inspector in the pipeline industry and was a member of the National Association of Coating Engineers. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Cockrum was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Cockrum, of the family home; two daughters, Jennifer Cockrum, Bakersfield, Missouri and Mary Kate Hillyard, husband, Michael, Belfair, Washington; three grandchildren, Kayla Cooper, Brandon Cooper and Garron Hillyard; and many nieces and nephews.
His parents, one son, James Lyle Cockrum, and two sisters, Anita and Ileta Cockrum, precede him in death.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Pottersville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
