Margaret Neva Libby
Funeral services for Margaret Neva Libby, 86, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 26, 2017 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Libby passed away at 12:15 a.m., Monday, January 23, 2017 at West Vue Nursing Center.
She was born June 28, 1930, at Des Moines, Iowa, to Paul Oglesbee and Marjorie Neva Huss Oglesbee. On June 29, 1947, she was married at Winterset, Iowa, to Dale Frank Libby, who preceded her in death on April 19, 2009. They were married for sixty-two years. Mrs. Libby had worked as a nurse’s aide at West Vue Nursing Center, before her retirement. She enjoyed sewing and loved her family, church family and never met a stranger. She showered her loved ones with lots of hugs and kisses. Mrs. Libby was a member of Victory Family Worship Center.
She is survived by five children, Marvin Dale Libby and wife, Donna, Billings, Missouri, Linda Kay Huss and husband, Mike, Winterset, Iowa, Kelly Dean Libby and wife, Amy, Pomona, Missouri, Lorie Ann Falwell and husband, Wes, West Plains, Missouri and Myla Sue Provow and husband, James, Pomona, Missouri; twelve grandchildren, Melissa Howard, Rhonda Lauer, Tracy Briley, Lesa Sparkman, Chuck Joynes, Teresa Salkil, Kimberly Libby, Jason Falwell, Michael Libby, Rachel Ledbetter, Adrienne Peeler and Ethan Provow; twenty great-grandchildren, Chelsey, McKenzie, Lane, Melisha, McKenna, Caelyn, Seth, Treven, Neva, Trenton, Audrey, Ashlyn, Mason, Jensyn, Korie, Blaire, Rylie, Scarlett Rhea, Dawson and Cheyenne; one brother, Wayne Oglesbee, Winterset, Iowa; two sisters, Dorothy Libby, Winterset, Iowa and Madge Meisters and husband, Dave, Mitchellville, Iowa; one sister-in-law, Sue Oglesbee, Murray, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, two grandsons, two great-grandchildren, two sisters and one brother, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the South Fork Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to South Fork Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
