Margaret Rose Stephens
Graveside services for Margaret Rose Stephens, 57, West Plains, Missouri, will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Miss Stephens died 3:30 p.m., Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the NHC HealthCare. She was born February 8, 1955 at Sacramento, California the foster daughter of the late Bobby Charles (Bob) Stephens and Dorothy Freeman Stephens. She attended the West Plains R-7 Schools and graduated from the West Plains High School with the Class of 1974. Margaret was a good cook. She attended the West 160 Church of Christ and was baptized on March 27, 1991 by Evangelist Wayne Stewart.
She is survived by two aunts, Monna Farmer, Springfield, Missouri and Doris Thornton, Joplin, Missouri; and a number of cousins.
Miss Stephens is preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents, her aunts, Lola Newton, Flo Sanders, Farol Routh and Marylee Stephens, her uncles, Verl Freeman and Merl Freeman and many cousins.
She will lie in state from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27th, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

My heart goes out to your family. I knew you from high school. You were always friendly, and had a smile for everyone. Although your family will grieve for you, I pray that God will give them peace, and the knowledge that you are now in a much better place. Enjoy your visit with the angels.

I knew Margaret in high school and remember her as always having a great big smile. She was a good friend to me and I hope I was a good friend to her. May God be with you in this time of need. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

I knew Margaret in high school. She was kind and friendly to everyone she met. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
