A Celebration of Life Service for Nancy Ann Nix Anderson, 72, Springfield, Missouri, will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Anderson passed away at 8:29 a.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.

She was born March 8, 1947, at Springfield, Missouri, to Joe Summerfield Nix and Carmelita Winnifred Angell Carter.  On August 14, 1965, she was married at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, West Plains, Missouri, to Jim Anderson.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Anderson, of the family home; one daughter, Angell Armstrong and husband, Wesley, Springfield, Missouri; one granddaughter, Ashley Dlouhy and husband, Michael, Battlefield, Missouri; one great-grandson, Emerson Dlouhy; two brothers, Joe S. Nix, Jr., and wife, Barbara, West Plains, Missouri and Timothy R. Nix and wife, Lila, Mountain Home, Arkansas; one sister-in-law, Lana Courtney, Enid, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
