Grandma Nola was a peaceful woman. She helped us in time of need and was a fantastic cooker. she would also do quilting for a hobby she quilted many things some for me, my mom and many others. When my mom was growing up Grandma Nola would take care of her and my Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Richard and Uncle Chris ( grandchildren ). She made the best chicken and dumplings ever if you tasted them you would fall in love with them. If you were ever hungry at Grandma Nola’s house she always had something to eat. She was a care giver and we will always miss her and have her in our hearts.

Granny will always be in my thoughts she was a great person during the short time I knew her. She lived life on her terms and did not let much slow her down. She left her mark on this world and will be remembered by me and others.

I was privileged to meet Mrs White on each of my trips from Arizona to see my daughter Linda BelJean, her neighbor. Very seldom in life do you get to meet a person that is so loving, caring and sharing. Her life speaks for itself. She left her mark on all that she met. She certainly found a spot in the hearts of my wife and I.

In 1981, we were privileged to meet Mrs. White, while visiting her neighbor, Linda Beljean. A highlight of each visit thereafter, was a trip across the street to catch up with Mrs. White! She adopted Linda, Jodie and Michael as her own, and was in turn, considered as a grandmother thereafter. Our heartfelt condolences to the family.

Mrs White was a wonderful woman we had the privledge of being a part of the Pine Street nation when it was at it’s glory… she was a great neighbor and my dad always enjoyed visiting with her out in the yard where at that point in her life she spent most of her time…

My thoughts and prayers are with you families.
