Ricky Dwayne Barks

Ricky Dwayne Barks, 66, West Plains, Missouri, passed away at 4:10 a.m., Thursday, February 6, 2025, at his home.
He was born October 29, 1958, at Phoenix, Arizona, to Kenneth Barks and Lillian Collins Barks. On December 24, 1977, he was married at West Plains, to Linda Collins. Ricky loved hunting and fishing with his son and close friends, Mike and Ray. He also loved spending time with his grandkids ad well as traveling to Wichita to spend time with his daughter and her family. Mr. Barks worked as the manager at John Deere before taking over his father’s business, Ken’s Tractor, from 1993 to 2024. He had many accomplishments including rebuilding a 1959 Chevy for his wife and helping his son build his home in only six months.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Barks, of the family home; two children, Kimberly Cronister and husband, Brent, Wichita, Kansas and Ricky D. Barks and wife, Jennifer, West Plains; seven grandchildren, Haylie, Brent, Avree, Sawyer, Kali, Kamren and Lexi; three sisters, Judy Stowers, Mountain Grove, Missouri, Tammy Rutledge, West Plains and Sandy Barks, West Plains; and many nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

So very sorry to hear this news. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rick put up with all Tammy’s friends (me included) during sleepovers at the Barks home. I remember Rick and Linda dating and getting married.
