Roger Dale Hunt

Graveside services for Roger Dale Hunt, 62, Lanton, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Moody Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Hunt died at 10:13 a.m., Monday, December 16, 2013, at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born October 31, 1951, at West Plains, Missouri, to Tess Hunt and Ruth Helen Nicks Hunt.  He graduated from West Plains High School with the Class of 1969 and had worked as an electrician at Cawvey Electric for over twenty years, until his retirement in June of 2012.  Mr. Hunt played in the Moody Creek Band and loved NASCAR and football.

He is survived by three brothers, Junior Hunt, wife, Vonda, West Plains, Missouri, Ronnie Hunt, Forsyth, Missouri and Norman Hunt, wife, Beverly, West Plains, Missouri; one sister, Aliene Gordon, husband, Wayne, Dodge City, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents and one nephew, precede him in death.

Mr. Hunt will lie in state from 4:00 p.m., Wednesday until 11:00 a.m., Thursday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
