Thomas F. Durham
Funeral services for Thomas F. Durham, 73, Bakersfield, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Full Gospel Church, Bakersfield, Missouri, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Durham died at 8:32 p.m., Sunday, December 29, 2013, at his home.
He was born August 27, 1940, at Ott, Arkansas, to Thomas H. Durham and May Marie Taylor Durham. He received his education in the schools of Bakersfield, Missouri and Cash, Arkansas. On December 26, 1959, he was married at Kansas City, Kansas, to Martha Hayes. Mr. Durham was a retired concrete finisher. He loved to fish, deer hunt, sing and play his guitar; he loved his family very much. He enjoyed traveling, camping and spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Durham was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of the Full Gospel Church, Bakersfield, Missouri.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Durham, of the family home; three daughters, Robin Tomlinson (Bob Hoelcher), Springfield, Missouri, Melanie Cole (Tom Yocom), Walnut Grove, Missouri and Wendy Durham, Bakersfield, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Lee Busby, wife, Sarah, Josh Busby, wife, Sandy, Amanda Cooper, husband Rick, Tyler Allen, Megan Smith, husband, Dusty, Landon Tomlinson, Taylor Tomlinson, Zachary Verren, Chantel Reynolds, husband, Brock; eight great-grandchildren, Grace, Ossie and Ricky Cooper, Bethany and Ayrianna Allen, Harley and Jacklynn Smith and Keagan Reynolds; five brothers, J. T. Durham, wife, Faye, South Fork, Missouri, Alvie Durham, wife, Maxine, Liberty, Missouri, Jimmy Durham, Caulfield, Missouri, John Eddy Durham, Kansas City, Missouri and Tilman Durham, wife, Elaine, West Plains, Missouri; one sister, Margie Horton, Cash, Arkansas; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and two very special friends, Loyd Ice and Leo Smith.
His parents, one daughter, Pam Busby, three brothers, Haman Durham, Oscar Durham and Huey Morris Durham and three sisters, Marzie Cropper, Flonnie Faye Durham and Linda Brewer, precede him in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bakersfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Gideon Bible Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

So sorry to hear about Thomas passing. I have such fond memories of our school days at Bakersfield. It was so good to get to visit with him at the 2012 Class Reunion.
