Verdon Ray Warren

Funeral services for Verdon Ray Warren, 88, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Warren passed away at 9:58 a.m., Sunday, August 3, 2025, at his home.
He was born March 16, 1937, at Dawt, Missouri, to Oda Warren and Nellie Adams Warren. On January 19, 1957, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Mildred Barks. Mr. Warren loved farming and antique tractors. He was a farmer for over sixty years. He served on the Board of Directors at MFA Oil and Mid-America Dairy, he was a Gideon, a member of the West Plains Industrial Park Board as well as serving his community as the fire chief of Pomona Fire Department for over twenty years. Mr. Warren was a member of Calvary General Baptist Church for forty-nine years where he had served as a Deacon.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Warren, of the family home; four children, Patricia Wright and husband, Robert, Independence, Missouri, Brenda Danforth and husband, Fred, Little Rock, Arkansas, Kermit Warren and wife, Theresa, Laquey, Missouri and Beverly Broyles; seven grandchildren, Moses Wright, Bonnie Wright, Rebecca Farnham, Lisa Martinez, Chrissy Danforth, Joseph Bruno and Nicholas Bruno; two step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Verl Warren, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
His parents, one grandson, Andrew Terrell and three sisters, Vernie Evans, Ernie Warren and Zella Killion, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 11, 2025, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
