I am deeply saddened to learn of Virginia’s passing. She was my neighbor from 1973 until she moved back to West Plaines. We had many laughs over the years. A couple of years ago, she helped me get a curling brush out of my hair. She looked at it and said, “You got this stuck good. How did you do this?” She worked and worked until she got my long hair pulled out from around that brush.

I watched Richie and David grow up, and I watched as Virginia raised those two boys alone. She was valiant and strong. Still, she withered after David passed. Virginia, Richie, and David are now together again. I know that their hearts are at peace, because they are together forever. This will be a most wonderful Christmas for them.

I send my deepest sympathy to Barb, Rita, and the rest of the family.
