William David “Bill” Foster
A celebration of life service for William David Foster, 69, of West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Galloway Park.
He was born October 15, 1949, at Mount Vernon, Illinois to John Henry Foster and Beatrice Jean Bunner Foster. On December 4, 1971, he was married at Las Vegas, Nevada, to Carol Jean Tuell. Mr. Foster was a veteran, having served with the United States Navy. He enjoyed watching old westerns and in his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles and fast cars. Mr. Foster was of the Lutheran faith.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Foster, three children, Judy Iden and husband, Sam, William Daniel Foster and Robert Foster and wife, Cassey; six grandchildren, Mistine Thompson, Cole Hilleman, Kendra Brown, Mya Simpson, Lula Abagil Foster and Jayden Foster; five brothers, Jimmy Foster, Terry Foster, Robert Foster, Kenneth Foster and Clifford Foster; and many nieces and nephews.
His parents, one sister, Dianna Canning, three brothers, John Foster, Joseph Foster and Wilbur Foster and one daughter-in-law, Stephanie Foster, preceded him in death.
