Very sad to learn of Winfred’s death. I met Winfred while my mother was at Brooke Haven last year. We became friends and he was a Christian brother to me. We had almost daily visits and talks. He was a light in a darkened place. I truly expect to see him again in the kingdom of Heaven. My God bless his family and know they can be proud of him.

It’s always sad to hear the loss of such a good person. We dearly enjoyed getting to know John when he came to church with us at Gospel Hill. He went with my daughter and I one day on a door knocking to invite people to church and we both learned alot about our family history from him and other things as well. I know you will miss him as well as everyone close to him. Always keep his memory and influence in your heart as I believe he was a truly dedicated Christian, husband, father and grandfather.

So sorry to hear about Winfred’s passing. Thinking back to childhood / school memories. And then on my return to West Plains, he was always so kind to me whenever I would run into him at the nursing home. And a joy to talk to at our SF reunions. Prayers for all of you at this time.
