    Chris, Paul, and Barnhart Family,
We want to extend our deepest sympathy to each one of you upon the loss of Reba. Each one of you will be our prayers/thoughts. May God comfort, encourage, and support each one of you through this difficult time. We have such wonderful memories of Reba from the Nicholas and Monk Street neighborhood! Also, Reba’s years of teaching in our school district…a very caring individual who cared for each student as if he/she was her own child. Also, she was very supportive of Tim and I in raising our son, Corby who has dwarfism. Reba will be missed greatly. May God bless each one of you.
    In Christian Love,

My condolence to the family of Reba..she was definitely one of a kind
in the teaching field. My kids loved her and her encouragement
and guidance helped many along the way. May God continue to
bless your family in knowing how much she was loved.

We offer our sympathy to the family of Reba Barnhart . Our son Mark Haynes, had the good fortunate to have had her teaching and guidance in the first grade. We have pictures of him making and taking her a May Basket. This bond never waned over the years. He stayed in contact with her until the last few years. As a soon to be Major in the U.S Army I know Mrs Barnhart would be so proud of her first grader.

I’m so sorry for your loss. What a wonderful person and mentor to me throughout my life. I have so many fond memories of leaving her May baskets every year. She was the such a wonderful role model and I feel so fortunate to have been able to see her at our last class reunion. She will be missed.

Becki and I have wonderful memories of our next door neighbor for the brief time we lived in West Plains and her granddaughter Ashley who came to visit. We have her picture in the den where we look at her everyday. It is appropriately signed, “Neighbors always, Love Reba.”
Our prayers are with you during this time.

Mrs. Barnhart was my kindergarten teacher. When I saw her over the years, she always made me feel as though I was her most special student – retelling some sweet anecdotal story or remembering how hard I worked to learn my ‘R’ sounds. Until just a few years ago, I still received a Christmas card from her each year signed “Missy Bon-hot”, just as I had pronounced her name way back in 1971. She was a true inspiration! Thank you for sharing your very special mother with all of us West Plains kiddos. She was a true blessing to the children who were lucky enough to have had her as a teacher.
