Billy Charles Haddock

Funeral services for Billy Charles Haddock, 85, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 21, 2025, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Haddock passed away at 4:20 a.m., Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Brooke Haven Healthcare.
He was born October 9, 1939, in Douglas County, Missouri, to Harold Winfield Haddock and Alma Nora Gilbert. On July 26, 1958, he was married at West Plains, to JoAnn Minge, who preceded him in death on December 27, 2021. Mr. Haddock was a city councilman in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, having served two terms. He was a member of Mt. Zion Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner of Abou Ben Adhem Shrine in Springfield, Missouri and past Rajah Host Shrine club. Mr. Haddock was a member of First Baptist Church of West Plains.
He is survived by two children, Sherry Ann Due and William Christopher Haddock, both of West Plains; six grandchildren, Calvin Due, Brent Due, Greg Pilkington, Ashley Ann Dean and husband, Brady, Tasha Haddock and Patricia Haddock; eleven great-grandchildren, Shyeanne, Dakota and husband, Tyler, Wyatt, Bryson, Carter, Zayden, Chaston, Bentley, Annaleah, Zoe and Austin; one great-great-grandchild, London; one brother, James Haddock and wife, Beth, Lubbock, Texas; one sister-in-law, Linda Jones, Rockford, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, wife, son-in-law, Randall Due, granddaughter, Catherine (Katy) Due, four great-grandchildren, Addison, Braylen, Angel and Zander and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, preceded him in death.
Mr. Haddock will lie in state from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners International or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.

Thank you all for commenting here. Our Dad was a good man and the real deal with everyone he met. We should not weep for his passing, but rejoice in the fact that he is finally free. He’s in a world of wonderous joy and eternal happiness. We should strive and look forward to that day when we shall meet him once again.
