Graveside services for Albert Ralph Gargione, Jr., 65, Bakersfield, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Udall Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Gargione passed away at 5:55 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Brooke Haven Health Care.

He was born May 15, 19 52, at Los Angeles, California, to Albert R. Gargione, Sr. and Donna Mae Edwards Gargione. On December 27, 1972, he was married at Bakersfield, Missouri, to Elma Lee Ellison. Mr. Gargione was a veteran, having served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was an avid woodcarver, gunsmith and blacksmith. Mr. Gargione enjoyed Civil War reenacting, hunting, fishing and camping with his family. He had worked at sawmills and retired from Baxter Healthcare Corporation; he was a trained firefighter, EMT, Paramedic and a Registered Nurse. Mr. Gargione had served the community of Bakersfield as Mayor and City Councilman and was a member of Lion’s Club and American Legion. He attended Bakersfield Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Elma Gargione, of the family home; two children, Justin Gargione and his wife, Marsha and their children, Blake and Brooklynn, of Versailles, Missouri and Jennifer Johnston and her husband, Darren and their children, Westin and Savannah, of Bakersfield, Missouri; one brother, Tom Gargione; one sister, Margaret Collins and husband, Galen, all of Caulfield, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, two brothers, Mike and Frank Gargione and one nephew, Spike Gargione, preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Edv Bridges, 86, Bakersfield, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Bridges passed away at 9:28 p.m., Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.

He was born February 12, 1932, at Elijah, Missouri, to William Edgar Bridges and Jennie Mullins Bridges. On November 5, 1956, he was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Freda June Davis. Mr. Bridges was a Veteran, having served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1952 – 1954; he was awarded the Bronze Star Award for his heroism during battle. He was a 32nd degree Mason and in his younger years, owned and operated Ed’s Sovereign Cut Rate Gas Station, Bridges & Sons Logging, Bridges Farms Trucking and Ozark Coach Lines bus service, transporting Baxter Healthcare employees to and from work. In his later years, Mr. Bridges was a farmer. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering with diesel engines, farming, gardening, sitting on the porch enjoying life and watching his grandchildren play ball.

He is survived by his wife, Freda Bridges, of the family home; six sons, Dale Bridges and wife, Lola, Bakersfield, Missouri, Russell Bridges, Fairdealing, Missouri, Steven Bridges, Caulfield, Missouri, Brian Bridges and wife, Jennifer, Caulfield, Missouri, William Bridges of the family home and James Bridges and wife, Janeen, Fredericktown, Missouri; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews.

His parents, four sisters, Ruby, LouAlice, Thur-lynn and Bonnie and one daughter-in-law, Mary Jane, preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Francis Marion Palmer, Jr., 74, Alton, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Palmer passed away at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Ozarks Medical Center.

He was born February 11, 1944, at Littlefield, Texas, to Francis Marion Palmer, Sr. and Madgie Myrtle Kennedy Palmer. Mr. Palmer was a foreman in the construction industry and was a member of Teamsters Union.

He is survived by five children, Rosalie Girdley, West Plains, Missouri, Billy Joe Palmer, Alton, Missouri, Helen Campbell and husband, Alvin, Alton, Missouri, Patricia Ann Caughron and husband, Junior, Thayer, Missouri and Francis Marion Palmer, III “Mick”, Reddick, Illinois; five grandchildren, Randy Wilson, Jr., Greggory Campbell, Devin Thompson, KammRenee Thompson and Charlie Joe Palmer; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Herbert Palmer, Rover, Missouri; one sister, Nell Whirrell, Washburn, Illinois; many nieces and nephews; his former wife of twenty-seven years, Judy Palmer; and special friend, James McCloskey, Thayer, Missouri.

His parents, one granddaughter, Tina Wilson, four brothers, Phillip, Shelby, Stanley and Lonnie “Pete” Palmer, and three sisters, Thelma Rice and twins Dorothy Brinkley and Dolly Goode, preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Erby Leo Bales, 86, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2018 at Assembly of God Church, Bakersfield, Missouri, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Bales passed away at 10:50 a.m., Monday, April 16, 2018 at Brooke Haven Health Care.

He was born November 8, 1931, at Viola, Arkansas, to Hamey Otis Bales and Ora Ellen Johnson Bales. He met the love of his life in the cotton fields and on November 7, 1949, he was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Sunshine Good. The couple was married in a jail cell because the courthouse was not available. He had worked as a logger, a sawmill operator and as a janitor at Bakersfield School. Mr. Bales was a musician and played guitar at church. He loved God and was concerned where others would spend eternity. Mr. Bales was a Deacon and Sunday School superintendent for over forty years at the Assembly of God Church of Bakersfield. “A Sweet Man” loved by young and old alike.

He is survived by his wife of nearly seventy years, Sunshine Bales, West Plains, Missouri; two children, Donald Bales and wife, Carmen, Bakersfield, Missouri and Connie Bales, O’Fallon, Missouri; six grandchildren, Alecia Lowry, Georgianna “Anne” Kuk, Michael King, Jason King, Mary Beth Kyle and Karen Williams; thirteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and two on the way; and several nieces and nephews that he dearly loved.

His parents, two brothers, Harley Bales and Everett Bales and two sisters, Agnes Pendergrass and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Rhine, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bakersfield Cemetery.

Graveside services will be held at a later date at Moody Cemetery, for Clara Cobb Cheshier, 92, West Plains, Missouri.

Mrs. Cheshier passed away at 7:42 p.m., Monday, April 16, 2018 at Ozarks Medical Center.

She was born May 3, 1925, at Frakes, Kentucky, to Robert Jones and Ida Fletcher Jones. She was united in marriage to Andrew Cobb in December, 1940 and to this union eight children were born. Clara lived in Moody and West Plains, Missouri for the past fifty years.

She is survived by six children, Betty Beck, Pat Jens, Gary Cobb and wife, Rhonda, Judy Minge and husband, Larry, Bob Cobb and Bill Cobb; eighteen grandchildren; forty-four great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul Jones; and two sisters, Glenedra Byrd and Janice Riele.

Her parents, one daughter, Bonnie Hord, two brothers and four sisters, preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Fred C. Heinecke, 85, Lawrence, Kansas, formerly of West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2018 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Heinecke passed away at 6:36 a.m., Sunday, April 8, 2018.

He was born June 11, 1932, at Detroit, Michigan, to Fred C. Heinecke and Jessie Hammer Heinecke. He attended Bell Gardens High School, Bell Gardens, California, where he was the first 4-year letterman in any sport, graduating with the Class of 1950. After graduation, Fred joined the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1955. On March 22, 1958, he was married to Marjorie Ann “Marge” Cromer. He began work for 3M in 1956, where he led the division in sales. In 1975, he went to work as a manufacturer’s representative for W. T. Leonard & Associates in St. Louis. As a result, Fred and his family moved to West Plains where he remained until 2015. At the time of his death he was a resident of Lawrence, Kansas. Fred was a member of the Presbyterian Church in West Plains, where he had served as an Elder. He enjoyed working in his shop building furniture and was a gifted craftsman. He spent all the time he could with a fishing pole in his hand.

He is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Dicks and husband Gary, Fallbrook, California; one son, Fred Heinecke and wife, Kelly, Baldwin City, Kansas; one grandson, Fred; three granddaughters, Allison, Kendall and Erica; and five great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 58 years, Marjorie.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Evergreen Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date for Robert William Brown, Jr., 63, West Plains, Missouri.

Mr. Brown passed away at 1:45 a.m., Monday, April 9, 2018 at NHC Healthcare.

He was born November 28, 1954, at San Francisco, California, to Robert William Brown and Lillie Marie Berg Brown. Mr. Brown was a veteran, having served with the United States Army; he was a member of Disabled American Veterans. He loved his family and enjoyed his grandchildren very much. He enjoyed fishing and coin collecting and adored football and baseball. He attended His Place Church where he loved singing in the choir.

He is survived by two children, Kimberly Brown, West Plains, Missouri and Robert William Brown, III, Costa Mesa, California; two step-sons, Jeremy Barrett and Chris Barrett and wife, Kim; two granddaughters, Emily Allen and Lilly Brown; five step-grandchildren, Cherre McVey, Laura, Kristen, Kala and Madison Barrett; and his former wife, Diane Brown.

His parents preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Jesse Earl Drumright, 91, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Drumright passed away at 10:50 a.m., Monday, April 9, 2018 at West Vue Nursing Center.

He was born April 4, 1927 in Howell County, Missouri, to Elmer C. Drumright and Elsie E. Downen Drumright. On December 5, 1947, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Ella Callahan.  Mr. Drumright was a long time farmer and had worked for many years at International Shoe Factory and Amyx Manufacturing. Jesse was a deacon at Hope’s Rest Primitive Baptist Church; he loved his God and Church. He was a hard worker and wonderful family man. Mr. Drumright was a gifted musician; as a small boy at the age of seven, he began playing music. He played many different instruments throughout the rest of his years.

He is survived by his wife of seventy years, Ella Drumright; four children, Janice DeBoard and husband, Gary, Gorden Drumright and wife, Lois, Frank Drumright and wife, Rita and Steven Drumright and wife, Vicki; twelve grandchildren, Craig Drumright and wife, Julie, Kelli DeBoard, Meggan Richardson and husband, Lance, Jessica Adams and husband, Bobby, Hayden Drumright and wife, Audrey, Dalton Drumright and wife, Chanda, Lizabeth Huntley and husband, Chris, Ronnie Drumright, Floyd Drumright, Barbara McIntosh and husband, Tre, David Drumright and Chris Drumright and wife, Kasey; many beloved great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ed Drumright.

His parents and one grandson, Jason DeBoard, preceded him in death.

Mr. Kilkenny passed away at 9:10 a.m., Sunday, April 8, 2018 at his home.

He was born August 13, 1961, at West Plains, Missouri, to Donald Dean Kilkenny and Patricia Ann Renegar. Randall enjoyed working on cars and hunting. He was always willing to lend a hand to friends, neighbors and even strangers.

He is survived by two children, Benton Kilkenny, West Plains, Missouri and Jennifer Bennett and husband, Eric, Caulfield, Missouri; two grandsons, Taylor and Carter Hicks; one brother, Scott Wiley, Austin, Texas; four sisters, Tracy Wiley, Peace Valley, Missouri, Savannah Kilkenny, West Plains, Missouri, Serena Speaker and husband, Bill, Brenham, Texas and Denise Solberg and husband, Cary, Portland, Oregon; his step-father, James Wiley, Peace Valley, Missouri; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

His father, Dean Kilkenny, his mother, Patricia Wiley and one brother, Gary Kilkenny, preceded him in death.

Mrs. Wood passed away at 12:54 p.m., Monday, March 26, 2018 at her home.

She was born January 2, 1939, at Cabool, Missouri, to James Nolan Doty and Irma Sweet Doty. She was married on February 15, 1973, at Eldon, Missouri, to Kenneth Leon Wood, who preceded her in death on December 8, 2005.

She is survived by five children; several grandchildren; one brother and one sister.

Funeral services for James Raymond Denton, 75, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Denton passed away at 6:00 a.m., Monday, March 26, 2018 at his home.

He was born March 18, 1943, at Monterey, California, to James Isaac Denton and Pearl Rogers Denton. James attended school at Monterey, California. Mr. Denton was a veteran, having served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict; he served his country for ten years. On June 27, 1980, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Imogene Jones. He worked as a carpenter and contractor, was a life time member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and was an active member of the Masonic Lodge at Thayer, Missouri. James’ last wish was to see his last great-granddaughter, Mia; that wish came to be on March 24. His family was important to him and always came first; he was a kind and Godly man and never met a stranger. Mr. Denton was a member of Mammoth Spring First Baptist Church, which he helped build.

He is survived by his wife, Imogene Denton, of the family home; four children, Brenda Dunn and husband, Gary, West Plains, Pam Coffman and husband, Larry, West Plains, Sandy Johnson and husband, Tim, West Plains and Danny Cobb and wife, Sharon, Peace Valley, Missouri; six grandchildren, Justin Hicks and wife, Jennifer, West Plains, Lacey Coffman Galvan and husband, Josh, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Zachary Cobb and friend, Samantha, Glencoe, Arkansas, Lance Coffman and wife, Kristina, St. Joe, Arkansas, Henry Cobb, Peace Valley, Missouri and Patrick Cobb, Peace Valley, Missouri; three great-grandchildren, Cameron Gray, Lane Hicks and Mia Galvan; one great-nephew, A. J. Myers and wife, Heather and their two children of Lincoln, Nebraska.

His parents, one sister, Sharon Myers and her husband, George and one nephew, Keith Myers, preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Helen Maxine Long, 87, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 23, 2018 at Gospel Hill Church of Christ, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Long passed away at 9:45 a.m., Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at her home.

She was born October 30, 1930, at Moody, Missouri, to James Willard Joice and Etta Hardcastle Joice. On April 3, 1954, she was married at Leota, Missouri, to Melvin Long, who preceded her in death on November 19, 2004. Mrs. Long was a homemaker and had worked at Roho Foods for twelve years. She enjoyed watching baseball and basketball games on TV and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Long was a member of West 160 Church of Christ.

She is survived by two children, Randy Long and Glen Long and wife, Caroline, Pottersville, Missouri; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Austin Long, Abigail Long, Kellie Thomas and husband, Kane and their son, Kase and Tyler Long; two brothers, Donald Joice and wife, Emilie, Pottersville, Missouri and Earl Joice and wife, Ruby, Branson, Missouri; one sister, Stella Collins, Branson, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Linda Long, West Plains, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, one son, Roy Lee Long, two brothers, Ernest and Charles Joice and two sisters, Dorothy Pointer and Mabeline Joice, preceded her in death.

A memorial service for Michael John Craig, 53, Caulfield, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Amy Baptist Church.

Mr. Craig passed away at 11:45 p.m., Monday, March 19, 2018 at his home.

He was born October 2, 1964, at Casper, Wyoming, to Thomas H. Craig and Vera Jeandeville Thomas. Michael graduated from Encampment Wyoming High School with the Class of 1983. Mr. Craig was a truck driver for Western Dairy Transport. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and playing washers. Mr. Craig was a member of Amy Baptist Church.

He is survived by five children, Michaela Craig, Willow Springs, Missouri, Ryan, Matthew, Daniel and Jared Craig, all of West Plains, Missouri; his mother, Vera Thomas, Caulfield, Missouri; two brothers, Kent Craig, Beebe, Arkansas and Keith Craig and wife, Michelle, West Plains, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, including uncle Ross Craig.

His father and one sister, Carol Craig, preceded him in death.

Mr. Nadtochayev passed away at 12:41 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2018, near Willow Springs, Missouri.

He was born August 20, 1971, at Chelyabinsk, Russia, to Aleksey Nadtochayev and Nina Nadtochayeva.

He is survived by three children, Daniel, Denis and Vladik; four brothers, Nikolay, Beniamin, Mikhail and Aleksey; six sisters, Nadezshda, Olga, Natoliya, Tatiana, Lubov and Lidia; and many nieces and nephews.

His parents and one brother preceded him in death.

Mrs. White passed away at 2:28 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2018 surrounded by her family at her home.

She was born on September 15, 1947 in Elmhurst, Illinois to Emil and Helen Johnson.

Nancy graduated from Fenton High School and attended Northern Illinois University where she also worked as a secretary. On August 26, 1967 she married David White. Together they had two sons, David Kevin and Jonathan Michael. Nancy had several jobs, but her favorite was administrative work at Missouri State University – West Plains. She loved nature and gardening and spent many hours outside tending to her flowers and plants. She was the author of several nature books dedicated to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her twin sister Marilyn (Dennis); her husband David; her sons David Kevin (Heather) and Jonathan Michael (Amy); and grandchildren Marissa, Rebecca, Charles, Eliana, Lauren, Andrew, and Avery.

Nancy will always be remembered as a loving and kind person who did good things for others throughout her life.

Burial will be in the Cobblestone Cemetery, Walworth Township, Wisconsin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nancy White Memorial Scholarship Fund at Missouri State University-West Plains and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Harris passed away at 6:29 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Center Point Medical Center, Independence, Missouri.

She was born April 4, 1933, at Noel, Missouri, to Alice Nole Fielden. On February 7, 1948, she was married to Wayne Leon Harris, who preceded her in death on October 26, 2007. She was an avid reader and loved word puzzles. Mrs. Harris was a dedicated member of Northern Boulevard United Methodist Church of Independence, where she served as president and vice-president of United Methodist Women’s Group. She tirelessly gave to be the hands and feet of Christ. And she succeeded.

She is survived by two loving children, Barry Harris and wife, Teresa and Sherry Ridder and husband, Pat; eleven grandchildren, Reagan, Alyssa, Vesta and husband, Dan, Joshua, Jessica and husband, Mike, Zachary and wife, Erica, Megan and husband, Jason, Christopher, Brenndan, Adrian and Cassandra; and ten great-grandchildren; Siera, Brody, Zander, Korben, Cameron, Quinn, Alyna, Rylan, Gavin and Maximus.

Her parents, husband, one son, Gary Harris, one daughter, Terry Jo Harris, three sisters and one brother, preceded her in death.

Mr. Booth passed away at 2:44 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2018 near West Plains.

He was born February 21, 1944, at Shannon, Illinois, to Leland Oliver Booth and Helen Marie Martin Booth. On October 22, 1995, he was married at Pottersville, Missouri, to Cynthia Matson. Robert was a local taxi driver. He enjoyed working outside, fishing and having Barbeques.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Booth; four children, Danny Campbell and wife, Lynell, Rockford, Illinois, Joey Dale Booth, Durand, Illinois, Sharie Lynn Stine, Pottersville, Missouri and Holly Marie Booth, Pottersville, Missouri; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Beverly Crews and husband, Wilbur, Freeport, Illinois, Patricia Ann Oorlog and husband, Bob, Cedarville, Illinois and Lanae Steele, Pottersville, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

His parents, one infant son, Robert Allen, one brother, Charles Booth and one infant sister, Bonnie, preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Robert “Lowell” Hudlow, 77, Columbia, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Hudlow passed away at 3:00 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2018 at his home.

He was born September 22, 1940, at Pottersville, Missouri, to Edmond Mitchell Hudlow and Clella May Hudlow. In 1963, he was married to Judy I. Marcak and to this union two children were born. Mr. Hudlow moved his family to Columbia to work for MFA Fertilizer. He retired after thirty-one years of service from Pepsi Bottling Company and also worked delivering auto parts for O’Reilly’s. He was a hard worker and took care of his family. He loved baseball and was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed working on cars and building hot rods.

He is survived by two children, Terri Hudlow and significant other, Eddie Sims and Tim Hudlow and significant other, Carrie Bernicky, all of Columbia, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Torry, Michael, Tina, Tara, Tyler, Rebecca and Sarah; seven great-grandchildren and one on the way, Jaden, Tristan, Teagen, Haylie, Paige, Evan and Jet; and one sister, Pauline Tilson and husband, Enoch, West Plains, Missouri.

His parents, two brothers, Eldon Paul Hudlow and Delbert Hudlow and one sister, Merlene Barnett, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Ledbetter Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Edward Lee Taber, 89, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

He was born on December 5, 1928 at Birch Tree, Missouri and on March 5, 1931 Ed was legally adopted by Ray E. and Mary Elizabeth (Gritton) Taber in Texas County, Missouri. He left this earth on March 9, 2018 at West Vue Nursing Center.

He attended grade school in the Harlow District of Texas County, graduating from Summersville High School on May 2, 1947. Ed was a Korean Veteran, 2nd Division serving in the United States Army. On February 21, 1953 he married his lifelong sweet heart, Eva May Hall at Salem, Arkansas. They had two children, Josephine and Ricky Taber. Eva and Ed lived in multiple states over the course of their married life, returning to West Plains in the late 1980’s. Ed was always a hard worker, willing to help everyone, working in lumber and driving trucks most of his life. He retired from Amyx Manufacturing. Mr. Taber was a member of Old Tyme Full Gospel Church where he had served as a Deacon.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Eva; daughter, Josephine Applegate and husband, Jerry, Raytown, Missouri; son, Rick Taber and wife, Patricia, Rover, Missouri; two grandsons, Jason Taber and wife, Anna and David Taber and wife, Sarah; three step-grandsons, Jeff Applegate, Bryon Applegate, and Todd Applegate and their families; one great-granddaughter, Nala Taber; eight step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Boots Callahan, Levita Reimon, and Sue Hurt; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Taber, Doris Harrington, and Glenda Hall; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Marion (Doad) and Fern Hall, Elmer Tidball; two brothers, Al Ray Taber and Pat Green; sister-in-law, Geneva Henry; and four brothers-in-law, Clarence Henry, George Harrington, Otis Hall, and Wayne Hurt.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideon Bible Society or Three Rivers Hospice and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Connie Lorraine Carte, 67, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 12, 2018, at United Freewill Baptist Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carte went to her heavenly home on March 8, 2018.

She was born December 10, 1950 at West Plains, Missouri to Ralph and Naomi Bunch. She was married to Norman E. Carte on November 3, 1967. After Norman returned home from fighting in the Vietnam War, they couldn’t wait to start a family. Unable to have their own biological children, they set out to adopt a child; after 16 years of waiting, they adopted their daughter, Melissa, on August 1, 1984. Connie was a very devout Christian and a very faithful member at United Freewill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for several years, served as a sponsor for church camp, helped with the Wednesday night suppers and was a deacon’s wife. She loved gardening, cooking, baking, especially baking her granddaughter Chloe a lemon pie, shopping with her daughter, granddaughter, mom and sister in law Mary, spending the summer on the lake with her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Darrel and Mary, going out to eat with friends, Stanley and Jane, and attending her granddaughter’s sports events and school activities.

She is survived by her husband, Norman; family dog, Rocky; her daughter, Melissa Tomovick and husband, Dave; granddaughter, Chloe Tomovick; mother Naomi Painter; two brothers, Dwayne Bunch and wife, Linda Sue and Verlin Bunch and special friend, Patty York; one sister, Wanda Wilbanks and husband, Bill; sister-in-law, Mary Edwards; special friends, Stanley and Jane Taylor, Jennifer, Isabel and Noah Johnson, The Hoffman Family; special aunt, Loeta White; nieces, Michelle Adams, Krystle Powers and husband, Michael, Melanie Wilbanks, Mindy Taylor and husband, Michael, Shawna Driskell and husband, Justin, Brooke McCarn and husband, Donald; nephews Christopher Wilbanks and wife, Sarah, Ronnie Bunch and wife, Sheri, Stacy Harlan, Cory Wilbanks and wife, Sonja, Shaine Bunch and wife, Stephanie and Caleb Powers; great-niece and great-nephew, Jaden and Tristan Tandy; and several other uncles, aunts and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, at United Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery.
