Cleta Mae Collins
A celebration of life service for Cleta Mae Collins, 80, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Pomona Christian Church
Mrs. Collins passed away at 9:00 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2025, at NHC HealthCare.
She was born June 1, 1945, at Mountain View, Missouri, to Douglas Guy Dean and Lucille Patterson Dean. On January 11, 1964, she was married at Pomona, Missouri, to Sammey Collins. Mrs. Collins worked at the State Bank of Willow Springs for thirty-two years. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, her flowers and traveling. Mrs. Collins loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Sammey Collins, of the family home; two children, Sheila Soffiotto and husband, Stephen, Overland Park, Kansas and Sammey Collins and wife, Stephanie, Pleasant Hill, Missouri; three grandchildren, Dalton Soffiotto, Sawyer Collins and Sutton Collins; one brother, Charles Dean and wife, Brenda, Mountain Grove, Missouri; two sisters, Linda Sewalt and husband, Otto, and Elina Crewse, all of Mountain Grove, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, one brother, Leslie Dean and one sister, Mabel Cox, preceded her in death.
A private burial will be at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Christos House, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.

Sammy and children was shocked and so sad when Shirley sent the message of Cleta passing we enjoyed our quilting and flowers but most of all our boys were same age which brought us closer to. Les always liked Sammy at school until we moved to Nixa in 1984. God Bless you all I will sure miss her on messenger and Facebook.
