Deloris Ann Johnson

A Celebration of Life Service for Deloris Ann Johnson, 88, Alton, Missouri, will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
She departed this life August 20, 2025, at her home.
Deloris Ann Johnson, daughter of the late Troy and Blanche Martin, was born on February 12, 1937 in Howell County, Missouri. On February 2, 1982 she was united in marriage to Joseph Darrell Johnson. She lived her life mostly in the West Plains area where she worked as a dishwasher at Ozark Café and Maxine’s while raising her kids. She loved spending time with her family and also gardening and decorating. She was the matriarch of her family knowing exactly what to say at the right time. In her spare time she enjoyed many things with her kids and all her many grandkids. Her family was the most important thing to her. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Blanche Martin; her siblings, Jesse Martin(Judy), Lester Martin (Joyce), Sue Craig (Glen), Roseanne Jordan (Joe), Katherine Baysinger (Bill), Thelma May, and George Henry; her children Thelma Dunnihoo and Speedy Gammon; her sons-in-law, Michael Eldried, and Bobby Thys; her grandkids, Dustin Gammon, Thomas Gammon, Dewey Dunnihoo and Deanna Gammon.
She is survived by her children, Ronnie Gammon and life partner, Idona, Brenda Green, Jimmy Gammon and wife, Becky, Rachel Thys and son-in-law Lyndall Dunnihoo; her brother, Robert Martin and wife Cheryl; many very special grandkids; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
