Hanford Ervin Dunkin
Funeral services for Hanford Ervin Dunkin, 86, Bellflower, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Dunkin passed away at 2:47 a.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at his home.
He was born April 26, 1929, near Myrtle, Missouri, to Hershel Jefferson Dunkin and Alma Leota Ary Dunkin. On October 4, 1950, he was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Freda Wiggs and had two sons, Larry Wayne Dunkin, Sr. and Kenneth Lowell Dunkin, Sr. Mr. Dunkin was a proud veteran, having served with the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a fifty-four year member of the Masonic Lodge, Past Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star, lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his wife, Freda Dunkin, of the family home; two sons, Larry Sr., and wife, Carol and Kenneth, Sr., and wife, Linda; four grandchildren, Larry, Jr., and wife, Marissa, Kenneth, Jr., and wife, Tina, Susan and husband, Chris and Jeffrey; three step-grandchildren, Jennifer and husband, Steven, Jessica and Amanda and husband, Michael; eight great-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.
His parents, three brothers, Donald, Vernon and Howard and two sisters, Maxine and Glenda, precede him in death.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery with Military Honors.

You will be GREATLY missed. Your son, Larry, BLESSED me two wonderful parents. I will ALWAYS Love you, “Dad”. I’ll miss all of your stories plus so much more. You will always be in my heart, therefore, always with me. Go rest high on that mountain,,,,,until we all meet again.

My dearest Flossy, I love you so much, I am sorry for your loss of “pops”. It has been so long since I have seen you both . I fondly remember the few times staying with you and pops and bottle hunting…. Im so sorry for loosing touch with you. Hope to speak with you very soon. God bless you and your family in this time.
