Judy Lou (Rader) Hammond

Graveside services for Judy Lou (Rader) Hammond, 84, Willow Springs, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Willow Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hammond passed away October 17, 2025 at Willow Care Nursing Home.
She was born July 9, 1941at home on Pine Grove Road in Willow Springs, Missouri. Judy attended Willow Springs School, where she graduated with the Class of 1959. She married Paul Haddock in 1959, with whom she had three children, Gary, Paulette, and Charlotte. In 1987 she was united in marriage to Billy Jack Hammond. Judy worked from a young age. As a teenager she worked at the Star Theater selling popcorn. Most of her life she worked in shoe factories in Willow Springs, Birch Tree, and Cabool. Judy also worked at Ozarks Medical Center before her retirement. Judy was an exceptional seamstress, and sewed for people for over 40 years.
She is survived by one son, Gary Haddock and wife, Heather; two daughters, Paulette Lee Bridges and husband, Joe and Charlotte Collins and husband, Terry; three step-children, Cathy McCartney, Lyle Hammond and Kelly Hammond; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jack Hammond, her parents, four brothers, two sisters, and one son-in-law.
Mrs. Hammond will lie-in-state from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.

Gary, Paulette, and Charlotte & Families,
My Deepest Sympathy to each of you on the passing of your Mother, Judy. I knew and became acquinated with Jack and Judy in attending church with them at Curry Street. They were a very caring Christian couple and a pleasure to be around too. May God provide comfort, peace, strength, and encouragement to each of you at this time. I will be keeping each of you in my daily thoughts and prayers. May God bless each of you.
