I was shocked hearing of Kevins departure. We grew up together & had many good times together. He had a generous heart. I had him make some keys for me & he made 1 for free once. We had a lot of good times cruising in his old light blue mustang. We always laughed when we first seen each other. Wont forget you, Kevin.

I was shocked and sad to hear that Kevin has passed away. I have known Kevin since we both worked on the West Plains High School Campus many, many years ago. He was always a very kind and helpful person and always had a smile on his face. I pray for all the family to find some peace and comfort in his memories during this sorrowful time.

I am so very sorry to learn of Kevin’s passing. He was such a kind and caring person, such a gentleman. He was always willing to help when someone needed assistance, and came to my rescue several times when I locked myself out of my vehicle. Kevin was a good friend to many, a tremendous witness for the Lord, and a special individual who will be missed in our community. My most sincere sympathy to Kevin’s family and close friends during this time of great grief and sorrow.

    Sincerely,

I first met Kevin when I arrived at WPHS in the fall of 86.’ where we worked together for several years. He was an excellent employee who always kept the welfare of our students in the forefront. We had some good and productive times while he was at the high school. Kevin and I continued to stay in touch after he left the HS for the business world. He was a good friend, a good Christian man, and a credit to his family, church, and the West Plains community. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Having graduated from high school with Kevin, I have known him for many years. Kevin was always a pleasant person with a quick smile and a friendly “Hello.” I am deeply saddened for his family and friends. His death will leave a void in their lives that cannot be filled. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

    LETTER FROM HEAVEN
To my dearest family, some things I’d like to say….. but first of all, to let you know that I arrived okay. I’m writing this fro heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Please do not be unhappy just because I’m out of sight., Remember that I’m with you every morning, noon and night. That day I had to leave you, when my life on earth was through, God picked me up an hugged me and He said. ” I welcome you.” And when you’re walking down the street, and when you’ve got me on your mind, I’m walking in your footsteps only half a step behind. And when it’s time for you to go….from that body to be free,
Remember you’re not going….you are coming here to me.

Kevin will be missed. He always had time to stop and visit, or wave with a big smile no matter how busy he was. It was obvious he was a man of faith and willing to share this love with others.

    God bless each of you,

After reading all the wonderful comments regarding Kevin, there is little left unsaid. He was a wonderful, trustworthy soul. It just made my heart glad to see him come around a corner. Kevin was a man worthy of example, for any willing to try to follow in his shoes. Abby and Jim Lofgren, Talking Rock, Ga.
