Lillian Faye Gunter

Funeral services for Lillian Faye Gunter, 94, Mountain View, Missouri, formerly of West Plains, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gunter passed away at 7:15 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2026.
She was born November 4, 1931, near Dora, Missouri, to Dewey Russell and Birdie Smith Russell. On February 14, 1950 she was married to Gordon Gunter at Mountain Home, Arkansas and together they built a life founded in God, Love and family. She was a well known beautician in Dora and later in life she volunteered twice a week for seventeen years at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. Mrs. Gunter was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Dora for many years and an active member of Central Calvary Baptist Church in West Plains. She was a great Prayer Warrior and hosted many Missionary families in her home. Lillian was a loving mother and grandmother who loved the Lord and was a great example of a Godly Christian Woman and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her three children, Elaine Fenske and husband, Dave of Benton, Arkansas, Darlene Collins and husband, Kenneth of West Plains, Missouri and Randy Gunter and wife, Sue of Mountain View, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Her parents, husband, three brothers and two sisters, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Gunter will lie in state from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sweeton Pond Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sweeton Pond Cemetery, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
