I was so shocked and sad to hear about the passing of Genita, but I have lots of
memories . I will always remember when we lived next door and hearing Your mother Hazel and Genita , when the kitchen windows were open, and they were washing dishes and singing the song ” I JUST STILL AWAY SOMEWHERE AND PRAY”
Praying for you and your family. Ernestine

Geneta was a very dear cousin of mine, as our fathers were brothers. Back when we were young children, our families visited one another almost every Sunday. Geneta was a very vibrant, petite lady who was very devoted to family! I regret not visiting her more in recent years. My prayers for peace and comfort for this family. Love to all, Elaine Joplin Nesbit

Kenny Sandra, Brent, Arleta and families,
I was so saddened upon hearing of Geneta passing. I knew Geneta since the 7th grade and during our H.S. years we loved, laughed and shared secrets. After our graduation we kept in touch. Geneta served as my Matron of Honor when I married my husband Kenneth Smith in 1969.

Tha last time I saw Geneta was when hearing of her Mothers passing, only a few weeks after my Dear Mother, Winifred Gentry passing. We knew that the two Mothers would soon find each other in Hevan.

Please know that my Love and Prayers are with you and your fmailies.

    Warmest regards,

Janice Gentry Smith, (Mrs. Kenneth R. Smith)
