Yelena Gerasimova
Funeral services for Yelena Gerasimova, 16, Willow Springs, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Miss Gerasimova died at 9:05 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2015, near Pomona, Missouri.
She was born January 2, 1999, at Dneprodzerzhinsk, Ukraine, to Peter A. Gerasimov and Klavdiya Zvyagentseva Gerasimova.
She is survived by her parents, Peter and Klavdiya Gerasimov; three brothers, Vladimir, Pavel and Anatoliy; two sisters, Olga and Nadezhda; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.

To the family of Yelena Gerasimova; I send my sympathy to you in the loss of your daughter. I don’t know you, and didn’t know Yelena, but had met Nina and Anatoly Gerasimov and their daughter Galena years ago when I was a social worker at Ozark Independent Living in West Plains. I was Nina’s worker for a short time. When I met her, I took her hand and told her how glad I was to see her. She nodded and kissed my hand. I will always treasure that memory. I know that they are both gone now. I also know Olga, who used to clean at OMC Behavioral Healthcare with husband Demetri and daughters. I know your community is very saddened to lose Yelena so young. My thoughts are with you. Jude Duffell
