Bessie Lee “Sue” Rife Johnson
Graveside services for Bessie Lee “Sue” Rife Johnson, 72, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014, at Collins Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson died at 4:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at her home.
She was born March 29, 1941, at Howard Ridge, Missouri, to Willie and Rose Rife. On September 29, 1959, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Edward Charles Johnson, who preceded her in death August 12, 1978. Before her retirement, she had worked at Marathon Electric (now known as Regal-Beloit). Mrs. Johnson was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two sons, Eddie Johnson and wife, Anne, West Plains, Missouri and Curtis Johnson of West Plains, Missouri; three brothers, Bill Rife, Richard Rife, and Jimmy Rife; four sisters, Darlene Parks, Wilma Ritt, Mae Harris and Virginia Dearmore; thirteen grandchildren, Chris, Tracey, Rachele, Cody, Derrick, Jessie, Samantha, Gary Jr., Brittany, Joshua, Dakota, Crystal and Johnathan; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Her parents, first husband, second husband, Thurlow Johnson, two sons, Ronnie Johnson and Gary Johnson and one brother, Frank Rife, precede her in death.
Arrangements under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Dear Eddie ,Curtis & family,
Sending prayers to you at this time. The loss of a Mother, Grandmother ,Great Grandmother ,Sister & Aunt – is never without sorrow. But know she smiling down on those she loved. We will each remember “Bessie” in our own way.
Sorry I will not be able to make the service , but will be there in thought.
