Mr. McKinney passed away at 10:55 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at Brooke Haven Healthcare.
He was born February 14, 1958, at Caulfield, Missouri, to Edward Lee McKinney and Effie Lamb McKinney. Tommy loved church, singing and his family.
He is survived by two sisters, Darlene Harris and husband, Jim, Goodman, Missouri and Sandra Edmonds and husband, Bill, Middle Beach, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews, including special niece, Cathy Kimbrough.
His parents, three brothers, Paul, Bobby and Edward McKinney and one sister, Linda, preceded him in death.

Michael Lee Harper, 70, West Plains, Missouri, passed away at 10:00 p.m., Sunday, November 22, 2020, at his home.
He was born July 16, 1950, at Springfield, Missouri, to Ralph Lee Harper and Betty Love Harper. Mr. Harper was a Vietnam Veteran, having served with the United States Marines and earned two purple hearts. He was the owner and operator of Doss & Harper Stone Co. for a number of years alongside his family. He was a collector of many things and liked motorcycles and sports cars; he was also a Rolling Stones fan. Mike was a humble man who loved his family greatly. Mr. Harper was a Christian and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Erin Harper, Springfield, Missouri; two grandchildren; his mother, Betty Harper, West Plains; one sister, Pat Harper, Sparta, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Shirley Harper, West Plains; and several nieces and nephews.
His father, one son, Travis Michael Harper and one brother, David Howard Harper, preceded him in death.

Mr. Gannon passed away at 8:37 a.m., Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Baxter Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 19, 1935, at West Plains, Missouri, to Roy O’Neal Gannon and Eva Fern Foster Gannon. On December 17, 1954, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Helen Hiler. Jim retired from the telephone company. Mr. Gannon enjoyed hunting, fishing and making fudge. It brought him great joy to make and give away fishing baits. He was blessed to have a great family, grandkids and great-grandkids. Jim had the heart of a servant.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Gannon, of the family home; three children, Garnet Roam and husband, Dennis, Gamaliel, Arkansas, Pat Hoopes and husband, Corey, Bakersfield, Missouri and Quinton Gannon, West Plains, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Camisha Hunter and husband, Brandon, Katrice LaRowe and husband, Ryan, Ashley Vannada and husband, Brad, Michele Joseph and husband, Brooks, Lindsay Malatesta, Dillon Gannon and wife, Preslee and Trevor Gannon; eight great-grandchildren, Addison, Jaxon and Hynlee Hunter, Lincoln and Camdon LaRowe, Kiera Vannada, Weston Joseph and Landry Gannon; one sister, Sharon Kapphahn, West Plains, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for James Norman Ficken, 67, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 22, 2020 at First United Methodist Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Ficken passed away from an amazing life on November 19, 2020, at his home.
He was born April 1, 1953, in Howell County, Missouri, to Albert Ficken and Marcella Norman Ficken. Jim grew up in West Plains and had already purchased land before graduating the Class of ’71, beginning a lifelong love of farming and raising animals. Jim was a foreman for Ozark Asphalt for over 30 years, paving most of the highways in southern Missouri. He served with the National Guard during that time and raised cattle as well. Along with farming, Jim was an avid fisherman, turkey and deer hunter, taking advantage of every season. With the help of close friend James Rhein, Jim started West Plains Bee Club and was dedicated to helping beginning beekeepers. In the life of honeybees and their hive habits, Jim saw the miracle of God’s creation and loved sharing his knowledge of bees with others. Jim will be remembered as a man who loved swapping stories, could be depended on for anything and never met a stranger.
His children Jessica Collins and husband John, Joanna Myers and husband Keith, were the joy of his life. He treasured time with them, his well-loved eight grandchildren, Taylor Bunch, Rorie, Chase and Isaac Collins and Evy, Shelby, Maverick and Eleanor Myers, along with is dear friend, Nathan Cropper. On September 2, 2006, Jim and Jodie Stephens Ficken married, building a beautiful life together that expanded his family to include Jodie’s two children, Nathan Ruch and Ariel Ruch. Jim embraced Jodie’s Mama Betty, her brothers, sisters and extended family as his own. Jim has five remaining beloved siblings, Dennis Ficken and wife Sandy, Colleen Justus, Max Ficken and wife Bertha, Kenny Ficken and wife Linsa, Caroline Hanserd and sister-in-law Daisy Ficken.
Loved ones going before Jim are his parents, brother Derald, and brother-in-law John Justus.

Mr. Melvin peacefully passed away Thursday, November 19th, 2020 at his home surrounded by loved ones.
He was born January 29th, 1948 at White Church Missouri, to Paul Leo Melvin and Nellie Elizabeth Hendrix Melvin. He was blessed to have grown up on the farm in White Church, Missouri. He was proud to be from White Church, and passionate about his childhood and his upbringing. Wayne graduated from West Plains High School with the Class of 1966. On February 12, 1972, he was married to Wilda Wood. They have been together side by side for the last 48 years. Mr. Melvin was a veteran, having served with the United States Army. He graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with his Associates Degree. He primarily worked two jobs his entire life. First, working 13 years at the Shoe Factory in West Plains and later retiring from the United States Post Office after 35 years of service. He loved both jobs and was grateful of all the long-lasting relationships that he built, first as a factory worker and then as a mail carrier on the streets of West Plains. He enjoyed visiting with his family, following the St. Louis Cardinals, and just driving the backroads enjoying nature. Mr. Melvin instilled humility and a strong work ethic into both of his sons. He was a good husband and a loving father to his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and those that knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Wilda Melvin, of the family home; two children, Denny Melvin of West Plains, Missouri, James Melvin and wife, Samantha, West Plains, five grandchildren, Amanda Melvin, Kirsten Kays, Dakota Phegley, Drew Melvin and Kaden Melvin; one great-grandchild, Grey Kays; two brothers, Ronald Melvin and wife, Helen, Springfield, Missouri, and Donnie Melvin, West Plains; three sisters, Rita Roberson and husband, Danny, Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Virginia Newberry, Valley Park, Missouri and Barbara Hanks and husband, Rick, Willow Springs, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie and Tammy Melvin; and many nieces and nephews of which he was proud.
Although he only knew them for a short time, his caregivers the last few months of his life were very special to him, Nurse Stephanie, His Roberta, Nurse Makayla, Nurse Susan and any of the Hospice Staff that came to visit him.
His parents, five brothers, John Michael, David, Ed, Tom, and Dale Melvin, his father-in-law, Dale Wood and mother-in-law, Marie Wood, preceded him in death.

Mr. Stubbs passed away at 8:24 p.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at his home.
He was born October 4, 1948, at the family home in Howell County, Missouri, to Fred Harold Stubbs and Beatrice Helen Mae Collins Stubbs. Arnold graduated from West Plains High School with the Class of 1967. On December 5, 1970, he was married at West Plains, to Lenore Francis. He worked at Ozark Motor Lines for twenty-seven years and Howell County Road and Bridge for twenty years. Mr. Stubbs was a life-long farmer; he enjoyed sharing his knowledge of cattle and hay with his children and in later years, his grandchildren. Arnold enjoyed deer hunting, as deer season was a national holiday at the Stubbs household. His knife was always sharpened and ready to cut the shirt tail of the first to miss a buck. He loved his family, adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Arnold was always there for his family, friends and neighbors and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Lenore Stubbs, of the family home; two sons, Jason Stubbs and wife, Sarah, Alton, Missouri and Brandon Stubbs, of the family home; three grandchildren, Braedan, Emily and Jessie Stubbs; two great-grandsons, Bradley and Jamie Stubbs; one brother, Ronnie Stubbs, of the family home; one sister, Brenda Jewell and husband, Jerry, West Plains; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends and neighbors.

James Othal Paschal, 60, Caulfield, Missouri, passed away at 2:32 a.m., Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Ozarks Medical Center.
He was born November 3, 1960, at West Plains, Missouri to the late James W. Paschall and Mary Jewell Collins Paschall. James was raised in West Plains and was the owner and operator of Paschall Heating and Air. Mr. Paschall was a very active outdoor person and loved to fish and hunt.
He is survived by his children and step-children, Sheila Lassley and husband, Brandon, Tisa Boulander and Jimmy Goss; several grandchildren, who loved to fish and visit with grandpa; three sisters, Wilma Jones, West Plains, Missouri, Jewell Marcak, Pomona, Missouri and Mary Joyce Paschall, Springville, California; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
James is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, several aunts and uncles, one niece, one brother Jesse Lynn Paschall and several cousins.

She was born December 22, 1936, at West Plains, Missouri, to Roy Johnston and Mable McCracken Johnston. On August 12, 1955, she was married at West Plains, to Carl Jolliff. She loved her husband and was Carl’s special jewel. Ruby loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Jolliff loved God; her salvation day was on a Good Friday, March 3 in the early 1960’s.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Jolliff, of the family home; two children, Ron Jolliff and wife, Angie and Kevin Jolliff, all of Peoria, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Laura Hodges and husband, Michael; Joe Jolliff, Matt Jolliff and wife, Molly, Sarah Mitzelfelt and husband, Ben, Karla Houston, Jerritt Jolliff and wife, Jen and Shawna Borland husband, David; thirteen great-grandchildren, one sister, Betty Riley, West Plains; and many nieces and nephews.

She was born July 4, 1936, in Jack County, Texas, to Calvin Morris and Nanny Cordelia Greer Morris. On September 13, 1952, she was married at Fort Worth, Texas, to Jesse Herbert Mattingly, Jr., who preceded her in death on April 22, 2002. Wanda was a member of Amy Baptist Church. She loved her two sons and all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved southern gospel music and ministered with her husband and their boys when they were in high school.
She is survived by two children, Jimmy Mattingly and wife, Ruby, Moody, Missouri and Herbert Mattingly and wife, Debbie, Moody, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Angela Littlejohn and husband, Jon, Jeremiah Mattingly, Naomi Moss and husband, Lance, Jedidiah Mattingly and wife Chare’, Rebekah Wolthuis and husband, Alan, Rachel Friend and husband, Joshua, Ruth Ann Mattingly and Jonathan Mattingly and wife, Sarah; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Morris; three sisters, Patsy Clark, Doris Evans and Shirley Ervin; and many nieces and nephews.

She was born March 29, 1952, at Springfield, Missouri, to Donald Burk and Louise Grider Burk. On July 22, 1972, she was married at Highlandville, Missouri, to Jerry Pfister. Mrs. Pfister was a Registered Nurse, a surgical supervisor and taught surgical technology. Donna enjoyed embroidering and taking care of others; she especially enjoyed having lunch with retired hospital staff and lunch with “The Moody Girls”.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Pfister, of the family home; two children, Greg Pfister, Kansas City, Missouri and Melanie Barnes and husband, Jeff, West Plains, Missouri; one grandchild, Austin Pfister; two brothers, Jack Burk and wife, Cindy, Sparta, Missouri and Larry Burk, Highlandville, Missouri; two sisters, Carol Nelson, Sparta, Missouri and Cheryl Johnson, Ozark, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Briscoe passed away at 5:55 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at Ozarks Medical Center.
He was born July 7, 1938, at home just west of West Plains. He was the youngest of the fifteen children of Ira Ellsworth Briscoe and Artie Mariah Tilson (Hopkins) Briscoe. He attended the one room school at Crider, Missouri, before beginning high school in Dora, Missouri. After his mother sold the family farm at Crider, they moved to West Plains where Jerry graduated with the Class of 1956. On December 29, 1957, he was married to Billie Louise Lewis in Hernando, Mississippi. His love, Billie, preceded him in death on September 11, 2013. Jerry began working at Bohrer’s Drugstore located on Court Square when he was fifteen. As the “Drugstore” evolved into being only a pharmacy, Jerry moved with it continuing to work side by side with Albert Bohrer until he sold the pharmacy in the early 1980s. Jerry then worked a variety of jobs finishing his work career at Stewart-Morrison Redi Mix where he was lovingly referred to as “Grandpa.” After retirement, he accompanied Billie daily on her mail route. Until his health began to decline, Grandpa was always the life of the party with a joke for everyone. His grandchildren lovingly remember him as their “Partner in crime.” Jerry often told how he taught his grandchildren to drive a stick but said they drove like their Grandma – their foot on the pedal and the pedal to the metal.
He is survived by his three children, Vickie Lawrence and husband, Eddie, Rodney Briscoe and wife, Marilyn, and Jo Lindberg, all of West Plains; five grandchildren, Jerrod Lawrence, West Plains, Mariah Hayes and husband, Jason, West Plains, Ira Briscoe, Lanton, Missouri, Tessa Ebert and husband, Logan, West Plains and Zoe Lindberg, West Plains; three step-grandchildren, Nita Cawvey, West Plains, Nancy Foulke and husband, Bob, Cassville, Missouri and Kelli VonAllmen and husband, Ricky, West Palins; four great-grandchildren, Jud, Rodney Wade, Jetty and Rylee; six step-great-grandchildren, Scotty, Ann-Renee, Madyson, Taylor, Evan and Luke; three sisters, Loretta Ball, West Plains, Ruth Bennett, West Plains and Rae Rhyne, Grand Junction, Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was born February 17, 1935, at St. Louis, Missouri, to Andrew H. Ordelheide and Frona L. Gerdeman Ordelheide. On June 26, 1954, she was married at Wright City, Missouri, to Norris H. Kleinschmidt, who preceded her in death on January 19, 1981. Rose loved gardening, sewing, ceramics and traveling.
She is survived by two children, Jean Warren and husband, Mark, Pomona, Missouri and Lisa Kay Kleinschmidt, Warrenton, Missouri; one grandchild, Vicki L. Martin and husband, Seth, Pomona, Missouri; one brother, Neal Ordelheide and wife, Norma, Warrenton, Missouri; and two nephews, Andrew Ordelheide and wife, Sue and Chad Ordelheide.

She was born January 17, 1928, at Gamaliel, Arkansas, to Carl Wells and Rachael Hathcock Wells. On May 27, 1949, she was married at Bakersfield, Missouri, to Cletus Vaughan, who preceded her in death on April 21, 1994. Together they operated C.W. Vaughan Store for over forty years. On January 12, 1999, she was married to Marlin McGinnis, who preceded her in death on October 8, 2012. Reba was a woman of faith; she played the piano at First Baptist Church of Bakersfield for many years. She loved to spend time with family and friends.
She is survived by special nephew, Brent Lidgard and wife, Denise and their children, Kegun, Brayden and Makenzie; special niece, Gayla Alexander and husband, Fred; special nephew, Jason; extended family, Wayne Wells and wife, Yvonne, Ronnie Hathcock and Derek, Megan, Matt and Ryan, Linda and Bob Curtis and Lisa Johann; and sister-in-law, Youvah Schafer.

Mrs. Johnson passed away at 10:10 p.m., Friday, November 6, 2020, at her home.
She was born November 16, 1931, at Pottersville, Missouri, to Fred Belcher and Thelma Wheat Belcher. On March 2, 1950, she was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Raymond Jr. Johnson, who preceded her in death on February 2, 1995. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed the activities of all of her children and grandchildren. She attended many ballgames in her life and was a big Cardinals fan. Her hobbies included going to yard sales, drawing and writing poems. Mrs. Johnson was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her children, Denise Philpott, Terry Johnson and wife, Teresa, Marisa Wilkening and husband, Ted, Lavina Wilkening and husband, Charley, James Johnson and Sherry Johnson; her grandchildren, Monica Kesling and Brad Hale, Tiffany Atkisson, Sheldon Wilkening, Afton McCall, Seth Johnson and wife, Mallory, Lindsay McCall, Dylan Wilkening, Shelbey Wilkening, Landon Wilkening, Brian Johnson and wife, Shelly and Brad Johnson; her great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Kesling, Dakota Kesling and wife, Kelsee, MaKaala Harris, Haddlee Atkisson, Addison Sanders, Colten Johnson, Cassidy Johnson, Camry Johnson and Briar Johnson; her great-great-grandchildren, Payton Kesling, Rayelee Gregory and Maddox Kesling; many nieces and nephews including Elaine Baker and husband, Mark and their son, Alex; and all that called her “Grandma Glendy”.
Her parents, husband, two brothers, Vedron Belcher and wife, Shirley and Lee Belcher and wife, Alvina and one sister, Margie Stoll and husband, Doug, preceded her in death.

Graveside services for Angielee Catherine Huddleston, 98, Ironton, Missouri, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Huddleston passed away at 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 9, 2020, at Baptist Home, Ironton, Missouri.
She was born April 16, 1922, at West Plains, Missouri, to Mont Clifton Palmer and Rose Hawkins Palmer. Raised along with sister, Faye Palmer, Angie spent the first 18 years of her life in West Plains; graduating as a proud Zizzer in 1940. During World War II, Angie lived for a time in Springfield, Missouri working for her uncle, Oda Hawkins, at his grocery store. Moving back to West Plains, Angie took a job at the West Plains Bank and settled into a life that would touch many others. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in West Plains upon her profession of faith, and continued active throughout her time residing in town. Angie married Dr. James Allen Huddleston, Sr. on Thanksgiving Day in the Fellowship Hall at First Baptist Church, in 1961. In 1966, her growing family moved to Bridgeton, Missouri (suburban St. Louis County). There she raised her two sons; Allen and Stuart. Her family moved their letter of membership to the Fee Fee Baptist Church in Bridgeton where she remained a member until her death. Angie was a fixture at the JCPenney store at Northwest Plaza, where she worked for more than three decades. She moved to the Baptist Home in Ironton, Missouri in 2017, and remained there until her passing.
She is survived by son, James Allen Huddleston Jr., daughter-in-law Donna and three grand-daughters: Kalee, Anitra, and Natasha, two great-grand-daughters: Kaitlyn and Emily, and three grand-sons: Brayden, Jerry, and Remi. Also surviving, son, Stuart Lynn Huddleston, daughter-in-law Christy and two grand-sons: Ethan and Evan.
All who knew Angie could attest that she was kind, gentle, and caring. These were fruits of the Holy Spirit within her. The meaning in her life came by grace through faith in Christ. She will endure in our hearts and minds because Christ endures.

Mrs. Harrill passed away at 6:30 a.m., Monday, November 9, 2020, at West Vue Green House Homes.
She was born March 30, 1937, at Lebanon, Missouri, to Jack E. Payne and Ruth B. Nelson Payne. On August 25, 1956, she was married at Lebanon, Missouri, to William Harrill. Mrs. Harrill enjoyed her family and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Harrill, of the family home; two sons, Alan Harrill and wife, Terry, West Plains and Steve Harrill and wife, Donna, Ozark, Missouri; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Her parents and one son, Michael Wayne Harrill, preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Ernestean Jenell Collins Webb, 84, Willow Springs, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 9, 2020 at CrossWay Fellowship Church, Willow Springs, Missouri, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Webb passed away at 8:31 a.m., Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Missouri.
She was born August 6, 1936, at Cave City, Arkansas to Joe Drinnon and Ethella King Drinnon. On September 12, 1952, she was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Wiley Collins, who preceded her in death. On August 30, 2004, she was married at Ash Flat, Arkansas, to Harold Lee Webb, who preceded her in death on May 4, 2015. Ernestean had worked at Rawlings for over twenty years and also at Conway Winters and Brown Shoe Factory. She also did machine quilting for thirty years. She enjoyed quilting, ceramics and decorating cakes. Mrs. Webb was a member of CrossWay Fellowship Church for over seven years.
She is survived by three children, Dennis Collins, Sparta, Missouri, Terry Collins and wife, Charlotte, Willow Springs, Missouri and Larry Collins, Ellsinore, Missouri; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Francis; two brothers, Joe and Coy Drinnon; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husbands and one granddaughter preceded her in death.
