Maxine, so sorry to read of JD’s passing. My thoughts are with you, even though I am not able to be. Our families have known each other for many years, and I’m proud to say..no better neighbors have I ever known. JD will be missed by all who knew him, but remembered by everyone.

    Maxine,

My condolences to you and your family. I vividly recall JD from my days at Howell Valley (then R-1). We had some spirited softball games and JD sent me scrambling deep in the outfield with his powerful swings. He was a Howell Valley icon who will be missed.

Maxine, as I read, on the Zizzer line, of J.D.’s passing, I grieve with you and your family. I know there is a big hole in your heart which will never be filled, but how fortunate you are to have had such a long happy marriage. I haven’t seen J. D. for many years but I have memories of him being such a “gentleman” and loving family man. May God bless and comfort you and your family.

Maxine and family – Mom told me this morning of JD’s passing – he will be missed by many. I have such fond memories of him driving the bus for Howell Valley…he became such a big part of all of our lives – picking us up and dropping us back off every day. What patience he must have had!

I received a Zizzer message about J.D. I’m so sorry for your loss. I remember the two of you when you were dating and coming to church together. And, I sang at your wedding. Maxine, I know this has to be hard for you, but be comforted knowing that he is asleep in Jesus. You have my condolences. Jan McBride Hamman
